Nicole and her staff were extremely friendly and helpful the appt was beautiful inside very clean and well furnished the beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was modern and spotless very well positioned for tourists highly reccommended. The weather was very wet and Nicole was so helpful in finding and booking suitable restaurant for us . The taxi transfer which she arranged was also first class and good value reliable . Absolutely loved this hotel. Didn't know it was a renovated convent. Very close, but extremely quite location. 3 minutes to the castle and about 5 to the St. Charles Bridge. We liked the location of the hotel - just below the Castle. It looks like an old building but nicely renovated. Cosy and romantic, with a lot of wooden and "golden" details. The breakfast room has a beautiful view to the Old town. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. Comfortable bed, kettle and tea/coffee in the room...We would be happy to stay at Golden Star again.

Liked all the usual bits - nice apartment, comfortable, quiet and modern.
The real standout was Vaclav, the Manager. He is a real gem. We had the misfortune to pick up a puncture in the wheel of our hire car. Vaclav noticed it , and without us asking, volunteered to help. So that our stay. In Prague was not affected, he did the whole thing for us

Everything! The room was very spacious and the whole hotel was beautifully finished. Breakfast was very good. Location was perfect, being close enough to all the main sites but being quiet enough to get away from the crowds. Being a smaller hotel, it felt like very personal service and attention to detail. They also brought us a bottle of wine when they knew it was my husband's birthday which was a very lovely gesture.
