A superb hotel. The decoration, ambience, comfort and friendliness and efficiency of staff all made this a really memorable stay and one we would like to repeat sometime. Excellent restaurant and pianist during dinner and a large selection for breakfast in addition to a menu if the buffet does not have what one wants. With One Word: Perfect!! We stayed our Honeymoon at the hotel's suite. Everything was soooo clean, the staff really nice and helpful, it felt that they were there just for You! Also the Spa was excellent (the best we've visited!). Also the restaurant, and the breakfast: Excellent! Everything was Perfect!.
all reviews » The setting of the hotel building (very picturesque and of a relatively small size), the location of the hotel (within walkable distance of all the main sights), the outstanding professionalism of the staff, the general air of perfectionism exuded by every aspect of the hotel. Size of the hotel is perfectly small, hall ways and stairs are divided individually, and these details make the atmosphere comfortable and luxuriously private. The location is in nice area next to embassy, and very close to sightseeing spots.The staff were excellent, attentive and very professional. The only thing I can think of is a full length mirror would be nice somewhere in the room.The choice of music played in the dining room and in the bar was not at all to my taste and it was always too loud. floor rugs in hotel rooms were easily slid acroos the floor,bit of a hazard really but apart from that it was by far the best most beautiful hotel i have ever stayed in. well, the internet connection didn't function properly all the time. The pool was way too small from what I've expected; one can hardly swim in it:) and the breakfast buffet is not very diversified ; I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel from this point of vue.The only problem was that our mattress needed replacing. It was too worn in the middle, making it hard to stay on one side of the mattress. No water in the gym! Also water bottle not changed in the hotel roomfree of chair. It is a 5 star hotel, the water should be changed as partof the service.Yes.No hanger for long dress. room is not big enough. Over the top Italian decorative scheme; tiny swimming pool; no rails in bath/shower and that can be dangerous; burned hand on the bedside lamps--they need to be replaced. a little expensive, but isn't that to be expected for a good 5 stars hotel? ...we booked two rooms,our daughters room was just fine ,how ever our room had a party wall which had no sound proofing we could hear the next rooms telly,conversation,which spoilt our opinion of the hotel,a lot of monies ,for a disturbed 2 nights sleep. The hot tube was not hot.
