  We stayed for 2 nights after doing Sail Croatia for 7 days. The owners were very friendly offering to pick us up from the port, offering a drink on arrival and, noticing that we had been travelling, provided a washing basin so we could clean some clothes. Velco collected us from the bus station and had no problems with an early check-in. We travelled with friends and booked the two bedroom/two bathroom unit on the top floor which has its own private patio with the most amazing views over the Old Town, the Adriatic Sea and the Pakleni Islands.   Family owened, very friendly and acoomodating, knowledgeable. They let us leave our luggage on check out day so we could walk around town for a few hours before our ferry left late afternoon. Every night that we stayed here we made our way back to the apartment with a bottle of one of Hvars wonderful wines and had a drink before dinner. We loved staying here so much that we booked an extra night here - The staff at Bonkan Hvar were so friendly and helpful even bringing refreshments to our room upon arrival. The room was quite large with its own kitchen and a beautiful, clear view of the water and town in Hvar. This place was very centrally located, within walking distance to the water, restaurants and all main attractions in Hvar Town. Overall it was a pleasant stay!

  The location is ideal , 5mn walk from the riva (no climb) where evrything is happening (restaurants , boat to he islands) . We were met by Jure at the bus station and it's a 1 mn walk from there . The appartement itself is functionnal and in very good condition but without charm . - Everything was top notch at this apartment. From check in to departure. Our host helped us with exploring the town. Car and boat rental way better than agency rates. The best place we stayed on our trip so far in Croatia the past two weeks.   The lady of the house, Irena is excidingly helpful. When arriving at Hvar she came to fetch us from the bus station, which was really necessary, because in our group of four people two persons had limitations in walking, specially uphill. Mrs Irena also helped us to hire a car for one day. The car agency brought the car for us - This was our favourite stay in all of Croatia . Irena is the perfect host . She picked us up and told us all the information around the island . The apartment was spotless and lovely personal touches. Not a long stroll to the harbour etc . The walk was lovely. Irena even dropped our cases to the bus station that evening . Lovely woman and nothing was any trouble for her . I will be recommending her place :) we even got a gorgeous sea view and balcony .

  Everything was perfect. The owner is very helpfull and directly gave us some good tips and tricks to visit Hvar, make basic shopping or go to the beach. The appartment was big and new, with a big terrace so perfect to eat or to read. Kitchen had a lot of tools so it was easy to cook there. It is locaded a bit outside the city center, in a peace... what people say » full area. Despite this, going to the city center by foot is easy and don't take more than 15 minutes. Good spot to visit the island of Hvar and goo - My friends and I stayed here and it was great value for money. The appartment was very spacious, clean and had an amazing view of Hvar. I wish I could have stayed here longer! The owners were very kind and helpful too. We will be back next summer!

  This apartment is lovely and the staff is even better. It had a huge balcony that we enjoyed everyday. There is an amazing restaurant on the same street that you must try (order the squid). There are 2 grocery stores around the corner, you're a 3 minute walk from the water, and a 10-15 minute walk to the main square. Rooms are very nice and clean with a beautiful view on the town and harbor.   Marija, ,the host, and her husband, were very helpful and accommodating. We had an issue where we locked ourselves on the balcony and she came to our rescue. You know that you could have asked anything and they would have helped. The room was cosy and had everything you could need- comfy bed, good shower, kitchenette and balcony with views of the ... what people say » old fort. A very short walk to the main town square/restaurants and supermarkets. - We had such a fab stay at Barcot. The owners were so friendly and willing to help us at any point in our stay. As it was a studio, it allowed us to cook and enjoy our meal on the balcony which had great views over the mountains. I thoroughly recommend Barcot and would happily stay again.
