Brilliant position in the heart of the old town surrounded by excellent restaurants and wine bars.At the height of the season nice to be a little distance from the crowds at the waterfront. Staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Located in the old part of town amongst some excellent restaurants and very close to the harbour. Room very comfortable, Staff good and helpful with superb breakfast, Recommend an early morning walk up to the fort.

This hotel is very very noisy - as it is situated close to the centre you are awaken at all times of day and night with people going home. I noted the noise issue on the reviews but was not prepared for what it was actually like. We were also woken up with the staff laying the tables for breakfast and doors being slammed. Ac making sounds, sometimes too noisy.Great place but it doesn't run smoothly... didn't have our reservation (and someone else there had the same problem), but Susan was nice and eventually found us a room, Internet is not accessible in all rooms as advertised, a maid entered our room when we had the "do not distrub" sign on... All minor issues, just a little sloppy, so be prepared to go with the flow. Pros outweigh the cons. Is noisey during the night from the restaurants below. Also it is expensive for such a small hotel with no pool or other facitities. But I feel all hotels in Croatia seem expensive if you compare to Asia where you get very modern, minimilist chic hotels for half the price.To dear.
