We read on other reviews that the manager Sergio was intrusive thou we had Bruno that was really attentive and respectful and not intrusive at all! There was a private kitchnette, mini fridge and TV.   The location is ideal , 5mn walk from the riva (no climb) where evrything is happening (restaurants , boat to he islands) . We were met by Jure at the bus station and it's a 1 mn walk from there . The appartement itself is functionnal and in very good condition but without charm . - Everything was top notch at this apartment. From check in to departure. Our host helped us with exploring the town. Car and boat rental way better than agency rates. The best place we stayed on our trip so far in Croatia the past two weeks. You are in the heart of the town and about a minute walk to bus station and main area. Quite street and beautiful Terrance to enjoy some wine on a nice evening.   Nicolina is such a good host. She was so nice to me and my girlfriend, we had so much fun. Her son picked us up with his car and also dropped us off with the car close to where the boat leaves the harbor. Nicolina and her son recommended some great restaurants and some amazing islands that me and my girlfriend went to visit and boy were they right... what people say » , it was amazing! I'm definitely going back to Hvar and I'll stay at Nicolina's house again! :) - On arrival we were picked up by the Host's Son who was very nice. He spoke good English and even drive us to the top of the mountain to see the view as a de-tour on our way to the apartment. The apartment was very spacious and clean, comfy beds and pillows. All kitchen equipment was there. Great quality Mitsubishi air conditioning. Nice view from the balcony and about 10 minute walk to the sea front. Defiently go back :-)

  Ana and Zlatko are fabulous!! So friendly and helpful, make you feel right at home. The apartment was spacious, comfy and clean. Grocery store is nearby. Had a lovely stay : )

  We loved our stay at Casa di Lavanda ! The hosts were great and gave us amazing recommendations on where to go on the island and where to eat. Casa di Lavanda is located 5-7 min walk from the centre - far enough of the party scene and close enough that you can walk everywhere. The area is very safe.   Excellent customer service - Iris contacted us before we arrived and gave us some really helpful info. Rose collected and returned us to the bus station in Hvar town and spent time talking us through tourist information that they had put together. There was quite a steep hill to walk up but it didn't take long and we got used to it! - Iris and her mother Rose were absolutely wonderful and the apartment matched the hosts! Location is great (easy enough 5-10min walk to the Main Street) and is very spacious, clean and well equiped. Best value for money so far in our 7 week Europe trip. They made check in and check out so simple, and were especially helpful when my partner was unwell the morning we had to leave, arranging a transfer a bit later in the morning and checking bus times for us. Highly recommended!

  Our host was great! Her husband drove us to the ferry/bus port early in the morning to catch us a bus.The room was great. Had full facilities and very private. Couldn't hear the other guests which was nice. Margita was always available to answer questions. It was a bit of walk down to the beach, but it was straight down stairs. Didn't take too long, maybe 1 - The apartment was very luxurious. It was spotless and had beautiful views of the sea and islands around Hvar. The apartment had a great porch with a big table and chairs. The beach was just a short walk from the apartment and a little store was about a five minute walk. The town of Hvar was about a fifteen to twenty minute walk along the beach, but I was told it was less if you walk by road. There was room for parking our big van too (at no extra charge).   The apartments were run by a family, Vinka, Slakov and their daughter Jelena. We had the newly renovated downstairs apartment, which was beautifully furnished with an enormous kitchen and lounge, with a huge flat screen t.v. Outside we had our own patio under the grape wines. We were thoroughly spoilt by all the family and would certainly return to the Apartments if in Hvar again. Thank yo - We stayed at Apartments Jakov and Antonia recently and were thoroughly impressed by the holiday rental. It is spacious and clean. If they had an extra fold out bed in the living area, you could easily accommodate for more people. There is also a lovely outside area with seating to enjoy the fresh air. Location is good, a short stroll to the old town. The family there were lovely and accommodating, inviting us to share a drink etc.
