  I wanted to be near the airport and was only there one night so can't give a true comment but I fopuind the staff to be attentive and rooms clean but only went for this as we got a special deal at approx 400 Y plus 100 Y for breakfast. I am sure the room price is a lot more than that normally as it is a very large hotel so doubt if we would have e... what people say » ven considered it. - The room was spacious, clean and beautiful. I travel a lot all over the world and the Howard Johnson was one of the nicest places I have ever been. I have paid double the money for less than half the room. I was extremely pleased with my stay. If I am ever in Shanghai again I will definitely stay there! I was 100% satisfied. Jerry Douglas

  Being a relatively new hotel it is all very well presented and clean. Staff are polite and quite friendly, but you may have difficulty being understood in English. Excellent location if you want easy access to the airport. Bed is comfortable and nice bed linens etc. - I was in the wrong airport needed wifi they offered that free and brought me a drink i looked online and booked last available single room however it was gone by the time they received my reservation so i got a free upgrade at already top price for the room. It was raining heavily and so was a nice evening and morning stay...
