I treated myself to a mini staycation to a spa treatment at the Sweetgrass Spa (just next to Ivy) and had a wonderful refreshing body treatment. Then checked in the Ivy for a comfy quiet stay. Trump hotels set the standard for this level of price. Not cheap but plenty of little things - chocolates and water each night (gratis), as well as slippers and turn down service each night. Fantastico!

You can't fault this hotel, it's one of the best I've stayed in. The rooms were large and luxurious, the beds extremely comfortable and the bathroom was amazing. The staff were so friendly, even though it's a large chain hotel it felt more like a small boutique hotel. It as five star all the way. -

We can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the
RoyalYork. It was our winter get away the year.( Didn't have time
for an island trip ) We took the train to get to Toronto, so we just
walked across the street. The Royal York is so majestic that as soon as

Big clean spacious room with mini fridge. Some of the furniture showed
signs of wear. Bed was comfortable. I chose this hotel because it was on
the outer skirts of the city. I read from other reviews that the city
had alot of construction going on so I wanted to avoid that. This hotel
is a 2 minute walk to the subway. Continental breakfast, WiFi and
parking were free. I paid $289 plus taxes for a king room. There is a
park next to the hotel. Food was excellent at the restaurant.
