The house and the hosts both had very interesting histories. The floor plan downstairs was very open, but the whole house had once been a retail show room for different makes of pump organs. Everything was comfortable and in tip-top shape and the gardens were lovely. It's worth a return visit just to stay there. We received from our hosts good recommendation for nearby restaurants, and menus were available to help choose. Also we were guided to some excellent sites to visit on the Bay of Fundy

Very comfortable room in an historic, attractive hotel. Free parking on the street close to the hotel (because it was a weekend). Breakfast included. Very friendly staff. -
The Mariner King is a historic inn and beautifully decorated. The towels and bedlinen were sheer luxury and the homemade scones at breakfast divine.

We are retired and travel whenever we can. Our reception was very welcoming. My booking was difficult to locate, however, the young lady was very patient and persisted until she found it.
We were delighted to be able to access the room hours earlier than stated in our confirmation. My friend was able to have a rest before that evening's concert. The receptionist gave us a map which she marked with a yellow marker directing us to the venue.
The foyer was beautifully decorated as was our room; clean comfortable with many helpful extras.

my boyfriend and I loved the pool and our room. The bed was one of the comfiest hotel bed I've ever slept in. The employee who checked us in was very sweet as well. -

Boscawen Inn is a wonderful place to stay. Full of genuine antique furniture, with extraordinary friendly owners. The location is perfect in beautiful downtown Lunenburg, and the breakfast is simply delicious. Bedroom with four poster bed really good.

The design of the rooms is fresh and contemporary. Rooms were very clean as was the lobby and food/bar area. Staff were excellent - friendly, welcoming, helpful and consistent (when we arrived very late at night and again early in the morning when we got up to catch our flight). Room was very quiet even though we faced the airport and the runways. A convenient and pleasant choice at Halifax International.
