Upon check in, for an extra $10.00 they upgraded us to "The Victorian Room" which was a king suite with an in room hot tub! The staff was positive and great to deal with. The swimming pool was a great way to unwind at the end of the day. Great value. Will stay there again. In fact, I will specifically look for Prestige Inns wherever I travel. We really liked the kitchenette unit we had. Everything we needed was there. The staff were very friendly and obviously enjoyed their jobs, which makes it so much nicer to stay someplace. The rooms are upscale and the beds are very comfortable. Not too hard and not too soft. Lots of pillows!.

We have stayed at least 20 times at Golden Prestige while travelling on business and it has always been good but super now since the renovations. We recommend it to all! Geo and Donna Riddell. Staff were very friendly and accomedating, form check in to maid service. We stayed for 2 nights and were able to get a late check out with absolutely no problems.Full sevice Hotel,clean large well appointed rooms,pool hot tub and spa, quiet longe excellent restarant,and liquor store. Very friendly and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and fitness facilities. The abc restaurant was attached to the hotel and very convenient for a good value breakfast. There was also a liquor store next door. Our room was very pleasant but please see the comment in the next box. The room was very comfortable. I got a kick out of the TV in the bathroom ! The food in the ABC Country Restaurant was very good, service from the waitress friendly and efficient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommendation your establishment !. Rooms are relatively modern, spacious and clean. Nice overall facility with convenient amenities. It is pet friendly, which was a must for us. Excellent value! Golden is always a half way stop for us, but the Prestige Inn makes you want to stay longer. The room is big enough for the 5 of us. I love the bathroom, it is big and comfortable. I like the fact that there is a shower booth as well as a nice big tub. the room, the bathroom, and the whole facility is clean. I liked that there was a restaurant in the building, pool n hot tub. Also a liquor store as I had forgotten to pick up wine for a friend from the Okanogan Valley and they had a great variety!. Great hotel for a reasonable price. The only issue I encountered was that I found some broken glass under the bed by the headboard. It was not in a place where we could have stepped on it. The hotel is undergoing renovations, which is why the room was so cheap - $100/night including all taxes. Though we heard no renovation noise while there. The bathroom mirror frame was falling off the mirror. Otherwise this was an excellent place to stay. Hot tub had gravel on floor but pool warmer which was great. That our stay was not longer. We were very impressed, and would highly recomend this hotel to anyone. Our room faced the Trans Canada Highway and although we were not troubled by much noise, we would definitely ask for a room on the opposite side. The pool area appeared closed and rather uninviting. There is no laundromat and the hotel location is bit difficult to get to town. nothing. Not enough towels, no face cloths, bedding was starchy. ice machine on main floor-too far away/ No Hi-Def feed to flat screen Tv's. If you were staying in golden for a few days the hotel is away from the town centre & adjacent to the highway. Lots of road noise and noisy heating unit in the room. Was awakened many times in the night. the air con did not work. Ate at the attached restaurant and food and service was good but thought there might be a small discount if we stayed in the hotel. Nothing. We had a handicap room and the bathroom was not that nice. It was easy to like, no problems at all. improve bedding. i notice you were renovating your rooms and we stayed in a non-renovating room. Nothing all was good. ab country restarant. The bed was the worst bed I have ever had to sleep on. Didn't like that I have never stayed there before I have been missing out on the best hotel in golden. Noisy all night with some sort of pump going off every so often. Really was awful and spoiled the stay as we didn't get much sleep because of it. groups may be disturbing. Renovations ongoing Room close to lobby so was bit noisy in evenings. N/A. The pillows are horrible and seem to be one hundred years old. there was no hair dryer, no micorwave, and the fridge was small. the main foyer area had construction items restricting the area. there was no locked storage for skis and snowboards. checking in on a long weekend there was not enough carts for all the guests - we had to haul everything upstairs. Bedding and restaurant. One of the maid services tried to come into my room at 8.00am... Good thing I had the deadbolt or they would have walked right through my room. Do yhey not haveprocedures so this doesnt happen. Very unhappy with that, and the girl at desk just took off the pet fee . Which was only 20$ I wont be going back.
