We choose this B & B having read the excellent reviews about it and we were not disappointed. There was nothing we could fault and endorse the other very favourable reviews regarding the property, comfort, cleanliness, breakfast and more importantly owner, etc. We only stayed one night as we were on our way back to Calgary airport. It would have been great to have stayed longer and if we are ever in this area in the future we will certainly make Canyon Ridge our first choice and for a long.
all reviews » This charming place is absolutely amazing. The location is perfect, a quiet corner in the amazing Rockies. The house and the room are brand new, very, very, very clean and tastefully decorated. Paul and Kat work hard to refresh the rooms every morning! The bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts were great and the hosts, Paul and Kat, are wonderful. Through their suggestions and tips we went to amazing places in the area and very good restaurant. We would definitely stay here again. Every thing was fabulous. The place is well suited for a B&B it was more like a hotel feel as far as your privacy but the personnel friendliness of the B&B. We do not usually like a B&B but this one is highly recommended. The continental Breakfast was A meal. Fresh berries. Eggs, ham, cheese, on a English muffin cooked fresh by the most pleasurable to talk with owner. The pictures don't do it justice. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel as though we were staying in a friends home. The property is stunning and our room was immaculate and extremely comfortable. The breakfast delightful with lots of choice and freshly made eggs with ham and cheese if required. Kat's hospitality was second to none making this our best accommodation so far on our trip. Accommodations where better than expected, actually they where fantastic, as we're the owners. Warm welcome and a good briefing on the B & B and surrounding area. Would surely stay here again. Have already recommended to two other couples. Breakfast was plentiful and great selection, as well as good conversation. In addition to the clean and well kept accommodation the hospitality and warm conversations had at the breakfast were a very nice change from hotel/motel stays. Kat, you and your husband are superb. The room was spotless and very comfortable, the hot tub was inviting and the breakfast amazing. The lodge was nice and close to Kicking Horse ski area which was lovely and not too busy. Off the highway, therefore very silent in a residential surrounding. Next time in Golden - again with Kat and Paul of Canyon Ridge Lodge - thank you very much for friendly and useful hints and bear spray!. Kat is absolutely amazing. She goes above and beyond to accommodate and make you feel welcome. The suite was incredible. We would definitely book again as even a longer stay would feel like a home away from home.
