The staff was so helpful considering the tragedy I was going thru, my husband was hospitalized on June 13 and being from out of town, I stayed with my children at your establishment and the staff went out of their way to help me, called taxi, delivered food etc... I have nothing but positive thing to say about this hotel. thank you. Amazingly helpful staff. Got me a taxi to the hotel when my delayed flight got in at 2AM, after the shuttle had stopped running. It's an interestingly grand old building whose era of splendor is far in the past, but my room was quiet and super clean, and the price was definitely right.
all reviews » Budget Friendly location near the area we were visiting....for being near an airport it was very quiet. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location near Trudeau was ideal as an overniter. It was quiet and clean. The shuttle driver was polite, punctual, and helpful with the luggage. The hotel is so well located.(near the airport) But the biggest surprise is that I did not hear the airplanes !!!!! So, it was very quiet. WiFi was OK. Maids were great. Room was clean. Shower was good. Glad I could see the car when parked. Staff was great. Beds did the trick. There was a shuttle in the morning to get to the airport - it was close by. Cheap and cheerful. The cost per room is very budget friendly... As according to cost the hotel was excellent... Close to thé AirPort and fast to get There whit navet. We CAN let our car up to 2 weeks. I like it was clean - big spacious - rooms were clean - comfortable sheets and spread. The restaurant in the hotel. The front end staff were helpful and spoke English. 10 min from the airport. 63$ for one night for 2 person. The cost and the fact that it is not in the city c.enter. My room was a mile from the lobby. Location industrial. Need some renovation. Housekeeping rushed us hours before check out. outside doors not secured,. the swimming did not work although we were in the summer and the internet connections were none existent in the rooms. location. Adress is not available in GPS. It is known there, but not changed although many guests do not find the hotel. It took us 1 hour. Small and old bathroom. There is NO fridge or microwave. without these hotel should be down to 2star. Being put on hold for 20 minutes while trying to book a room. The parking lot is full off POTHOLES. Otherwise, the guest will have to repair the car tires or get a wheel alignment. Lack of coffee in the room. that the restaurant was not open on a sunday pool was not filled. No hot water. Lack of continental breakfast. I booked a room with 2 double beds as I was going to pick up my 11 yr old daughter, and the hotel did not have a room with 2 double beds when I arrived. That's why I booked it. I will not be returning to your hotel in the future. Reservations are poorly managed. the attitude of the staff when I arrived and departed was very uncaring and certainly not interested in helping my stay. Side comments and indifference was the atmosphere. I had arrived very tired so I thought perhaps it was me too, but in the morning on departure the staff was just as indifferent and rude as the night before. I would not stay here again. Wifi coverage in the rooms was very poor, actually I had to go to the main lobby where I found every one having the same bad room connection. Bad WIFI connection. I booked a single queen bed non- smoking room - I was put in a 2 double bed room. The sheets on the bed had holes. The heat didn't work, the room was freezing. Free WiFi was almost non-existent. Bugs in the bathroom, rust in the bathtub and on the bathroom door. Was woken 2 nights in a row by noisy tenants - I called the front desk, they said they would look after it ... it continued for at least another 1- 1/2 hours. A lots of highway construction work happen around airport area. Detour sings are very unclear. Nothing valuable to family visit exists near by airport. rooms outdated, tv's were old and shutoff on timer, fiew channels. No in room guied or info for events or locations to visit. restaurant was expensive and not good at any price. Long walk to rooms. no vending machines. There was mold and water damage in the hotel. The place had leaking pipes and mouldy ceiling. It looks like the facility is overdue for a major renovation. There was no douvet provided just an old blanket. I think the place is a health hazard. It was dirty, noisy, poor facilities. I would not stay there again. The building looked like it was ready to collapse - paint pealing, tissue box hanging off the wall - nothing comforting or relaxing about the establishment. Clean up your act folks!!. Did not get the room I booked and paid for (should have been two double beds and ended up with a pull-out sofa bed). Very disappointed that the staff and manager did nothing to make it better. Said they couldn'T. No internet service, poor staff service, no towels in the room. Response to not having rooms ready until 2 hours after our check in time was arrogant, and unprofessional. There was a lighthearted apology and no recognition of the fact that five people, one child under five had been treated very poorly!!! Woman at the desk at check out did not appear to enjoy her job!.
