Should have booked for longer! - I actually booked this lodge thinking it was close to the highway through Clearwater, but turned out it was 34km off the track. However, it is a lovely spot, and the wonderful chalet room we had with a verandah more than compensated fir the short detour. A real find.

  We drove up to the cabin and it was beautiful - so pretty. Inside was very clean and comfortable. the owners were very helpful and advised what to see and do whilst in the area. We had been traveling for a while and just needed to relax and this was the perfect place to do it.   A lovely welcome and really helpfull owner. The accommodation is quirky and fun. Kitchen decor in 'diner' style, sofa in kitchen/living area for TV watching, nice to have a PC provided. Comfy bed and lovely bathroom. Loved raiding the fridge for breakfast, a 'help yourself' arrangement ready to set you up for the day. Would recommend as a stopover... what people say » on the journey to Whistler and beyond. - of all the accomodations booked on my extensive canadian trip this was probably the best especially the well stocked fridge and the honesty system for using and paying for the reasonably priced stocked alcohol beverages

  The host was very friendly and helpfully. She gave us a room upgrate, so we had our separat flat on the ground floor. Delicious breakfast with other friendly guys from Germany. - We were upgraded to a small apt. Lots of fruit at breakfast which host shared with us - a friendly touch. Owner made suggestions as to places to visit.
