We were very happy with our 1bdrm executive suite and with the pleasant attitudes we received from all of the staff. Absolutely great value for our money especially in comparison to accomadations in Banff. Hot tub and heated pool were great although the pool was a bit too cool for our blood and was covered for majority of our trip to save on heating since we were there mid week and not many people around (which was also really nice ..) the hotel put up signs saying they'd gladly take the cover.
all reviews » A very nice resort. The 2 bedroom suite was large and spacious, very clean, the beds were comfortable and staff were excellent and accommodating to our requests. We also had a private balcony with BBQ. The resort was still recovering from the recent floods and was under repair but this did not stop them from maintaining a postiive attitude and providing excellent customer service. Overall our stay at StoneRidge was excellent and I highly recommend them. We rented two 2-bedroom condos that were next door to each other as we had a large family group traveling together. The condos were extremely nice and the rooms spacious, the views were incredible, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We absolutely loved our time there and would definitely stay there again. The price was not cheap, but we definitely got our money's worth. The rooms had an excellent set up for families with separate bedrooms and a kitchen and living room area. Great for spending several nights and branching out to hike or explore the Banff/Lake Louise corridor. A very doable commute to Calgary as well. It was excellent value for money. The suite size was wonderful, with a well equipped kitchen area, and lots of room. The hot tub and pool was in a lovely setting, and although there were still ongoing repairs from the flood, this didn't take away from the experience. Being able to walk into town was also a bonus. Great location. Our unit faced the mountains. Beautiful view. Clean, modern and comfortable. Great beds! Nice flat screen if you need a tv fix. Canmore bike trails are awesome. Famous Chinese restaurant was terrible. Oh, and the pool is great. The flexibility of the policies and friendliness of the staff. Beautiful place! New. Classy. Kitchen & BBQ well stocked. Fresh cream in fridge, not powder chemical whitener. Generous with bath salts, free coffee, lotions etc. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our suite was spacious and we appreciated the washing machine and drier. The bathroom was huge with separate shower and bath. Parking was free undercover. There were complimentary DVDs. It was a lovely night spent in the hotel and after transferring to a condo in the town we wished we had spent the 8 days in your wonderful hotel, but didn't realise the facilities were so good. Thank you. Loved the design and location. The rooms were clean with a well equipped kitchen. I was impressed with the condition of the resort because of the huge effort to clean up after the flood. Well done!. we love the size and design of 2 bedrooms suit room, the beds were so comfortable and huge size.we had 3 flat tv and everything we need. there was a laundry in the room and barbecue in the balcony. How friendly and helpful the staff were. They were always willing to help out and give advice before and throughout the trip. The rooms were always cleaned really well which was a huge plus. We loved having our own home away from home. Staff was wonderful- wished the pool/hot tub was open until 11:00pm... Otherwise thoroughly enjoyed our honeymoon!! Will be coming back!. I liked the fact that we were in the mountains and close enough to banff and all winter sports. The condo was a great facility for families everything right there for our use. Room was lovely - liked the vaulted ceiling and the amount of space so we could socialize with another couple. TVs in the living room and bedroom was great. The heated pool/ hot tub area, the high end finishings in the suites ( granite countertops, hardwood floors, oversized shower), the patio and mountain views. Beautiful facility, loved the decor, the privacy, good service at the front reception, amazing view from our room, we also enjoyed the layout of our room. Beds were huge and comfy and the suite had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. - Amazing staff. - For hikers, having a washer/dryer in the room is a HUGE plus! - Lots of underground parking. - Full kitchen with cookware and BBQ. Everything was great. Great bang for the buck. Odd layout of our bedroom. (Cramped with doors crashing into each other). Our bed was very noisy creating partner disturbance. The location was too far from Canmore to walk. There wasn't anything we didn't like. Was sad that the pool and hot tub weren't available...not through the fault of the resort but due to flood complications. the iron was useless, the size and the place of the swimming pool was not good. Jacuzzi was not working. Pool hot tub needs to be open later. I think the staff behind the desk could be much friendlier. The sound of snow clearing early in the morning, a running toilet mentioned to the desk as we went out for dinner was never addressed and would have been nice to have robes in the room. Nothing. Breakfast not included with room. Room wasn't very clean - especially mirror in bedroom was very dirty, television wasn't working when we got there, but we did get someone to come and fix it. Also we were disappointed that the pool was closed due to flooding, this was understandable but we would have liked to use it, would have preferred if balcony in our bedroom wasn't joined to bedroom for added privacy. Nothing. - Noise from other rooms (especially rooms directly above) was evident. - Not all rooms have a good mountain view (ask when checking in what rooms are available and what view they have). Nothing. The bedroom was small. There was hardly any room to open cupboards and only about a foot between the bed and a cupboard. The resort was on a busy road and railway. Very noisy!. The rooms were fairly clean however, dusting and floors could have been better maintained. The bbq lid was also broken and the late night young people coming back from the night life was distracting and disturbing with their partying continued on the decks. The cafe had very limited hours to pick up salads, sandwiches and coffee. If you didn't bring your own food you were heading to the grocery store for a basic snack. We didn't like that pets are not allowed. There should be a deposit fee for pets like at other hotels( Radisson), as there are a lot of responsible pet owners out there. Just so happened to be too crowded in hot tub at out visit and pool was just a little too cold to stay in for very long. parking underground was tight. Bed frame fell apart on us at 2am in the morning. Could hear most noises from beside and above us... no soundproofing. Having to go back home. haha. Coffee please. Leaving enough grounds for only two cups makes me sad. Also, the hot tub was broken still. wifi wasint to great. My back still hurts because of the bed. Too Soft!. Resort could have been closer to main part of town. Despite ample wireless access points with excellent signal, the wireless didn't always connect, often dropped out, and when connected was slow. Lumpy pillows and more than noisy air con. No onsite restaurant. Didn't have a bar, but it's not the end of the world. the young lade at the front desk was extremely RUDE!. With the recent floods,the pool and hot tub was closed.
