I absolutely loved everything about this hotel, the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, the rooms were clean and comfortable, excellent value for the price. I will definetely recommend this hotel to others and will return when visiting Canmore. The 2 bedroom condo we stayed in was beautiful, very warm and with all the comforts of home and more! The Front Desk staff were very friendly, and accommodating to our late check-out request. :).
all reviews » The staff was courteous about letting me check-in early and check-out late. The staff was quick to acknowledge what information they didn't know and ask someone who did. So convenient - free parking under the hotel - wonderful staff - room met all our needs. Great place to stay when visiting the Canadian Rockies. The suite was beautiful, warm, relaxing and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the bathtubs were gorgeous. They upgraded our room for free as when we got there, no standard rooms were available. The suites are very nice. Location by the mountains was great. The layout of the room was perfect. The pool and hot tubs were very nice. The interior looked new, clean and well decorated. The rooms and kitchen have everything we needed. The room was more then we expected with two bedrooms and two bathrooms and a large kitchen. Stayed in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite so it was spacious, lots of room. Staff friendly, kids enjoyed swimming pool, location and nice an clean. location/front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Comfortable beds, layout of the suite, kitchen,. The room was nice, the floor plan was great. Hotel was good. Location. Despite being close to the highway, the rooms were well insulated for sound, and very quiet. Ac worked very well, important for this time of year. Underground parking was a nice benefit. Nothing to note. The pool's were open at 10:00 am. It would be better if they were open earlier. And if they stayed open until 11:00 pm. There was dirty laundry in our hide-a- way bed. :(. The staff at the front desk needs to be more knowledgeable about the facility and make sure that check-ins done the night before are actually done. I had to return to the front desk after I'd checked in because my key card was not activated. The information on letsbookhotel.com did not match the actual facility and I had to upgrade to get the room I thought I'd booked on the website. The lack of places to put towels and robes at the pool. It was very cold for my 80 year old Mom when we got out of the hot tub. Several issues. The shower barely sprinkles on you and our lever to turn it from tub to shower did not work-it was shower only. The electric fireplace did not turn on with the remote and I had to take the glass front off (which was bent at the posts) to turn it om manually. The selection of TV channels was very poor as well. The sleep sofa in the one bed room apartment can server only one person to sleep at night. The mattress was not super comfortable. Many dirty dishes in the kitchen, coffee cups had to be washed, kettle was so dirty inside I boiled water in a saucepan for tea. Not enough dishtowels, used sponge in the cupboard. Patio door leading from the dining area did not lock. TV's are out of date and CD player was a constant problem. lack of housekeeping. water pressure in shower was horrible, couch was very uncomfortable, checkout, need automatic checkout like other hotels. Size of the pool. A little noise travel. View - faced the highway Location & size of TV. Nothing. Sheets were dirty. have the company go out and purchase some carts for guests that they can use to take their items from cars to room. Embarrassing that there are none to be had, a couple more would have made it easier than making three trips up and down elevator.. Tempertaure in the room was hard to control, too warm at night and lowering the thermostat did not help. The phones did not work in our room and the coffee machine did not work. A gentleman came to try to repair our phones but couldn't, he advised us that a engineer would be coming to fix them but an engineer never came. They had no record of my reservation. The fact that I have been to this area in the past for business and received discounts on my rooms and this visit I was denied. I was informed that it was due to the fact that I booked on line. Water pressure was very weak, and temperature was hard to regulate. No breakfast. Poor value for the price charged. Card keys worked well for the room, but only intermittently for underground parking admission.
