Delux Villa is the perfect hidden oasis in Battambang. The owner, his family and all of the staff were very welcoming when we arrived. The location and attention to detail of the construction and surrounds are excellent. The quality of the furniture and fixtures and fittings was unexpectedly high. We upgraded to the family room upstairs which gave us plenty of room to feel "at home" with a great view from the balcony of the 25 meter pool (which we used a lot) and the lush gardens. Any reques.

The spacious villas (with XXL-size tv, fridge and shower) are built around a fabulous pool, the staff is superfriendly and very customer-oriented, breakfast and coffee are best in their class. Location is good, just a few minute walk from the bus station and the main Battambang strips. They even have a sauna, but chances are you will not need that in tropical weather. If they have availability: look no further. You’l. The hotel is brand new and close to the centre (walking distance). It is very quiet and the pool is very nice. Breakfast is very good and offers a good choice. Food is also good in the restaurant. Our stay was EXTREMELY quiet: no noise at all in the hotel. We never saw any other guests during our three night stay. The reason was that we were the only customers. So, the hotel was ours! Nice feeling but we felt sad for the friendly people who work there. Lovely room with huge comfy bed. Rain shower in bathroom very good. The pool was beautiful and fantastically clean in fact the whole place was very clean. Nice quiet location. Plate of fruit brought to you in the afternoon and home made desserts in the evening a lovely touch. The villa units, pool, landscaped surroundings and restaurant are a credit to the owner and the city of Battambang. See the real Cambodia at Battambang - the villa staff were particularly helpful with local knowledge and guidance, and the restaurant food was some of the very best of our 2 weeks in Cambodia. Very observant and helpfull staff. Very good service. We were picked up at the busstation, although the hotel didn't know when we would arrive. (They simply sent a driver to wait for every arrival all day.) Very comfortable and clean rooms. Good for families - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nice, clean and rather big pool. Good kitchen - both for breakfast and dinner. We were so happy to spend our Christmas at this nice hotel owned by such a welcoming family, who were unbelievably kind and generous -- The owner kept bringing us extra different, freshly-prepared foods - We all called him Mr One-More :-) Staying at this hotel made our trip very special and unforgettable!. Really the only negative we could think of were the bright energy-efficient bulbs lighting up the room. Need a curtain or shower screen around the bath. Breakfast menu needs sorting as a strange and confusing selection. It is served to you and not buffet style so you get to choose a certain breakfast I.e American or continental but they are just full of carbs. However after a chat we were allowed to mix and match. Hard to fault anything about this establishment. Loved it!!. Absolutely no complaints!. Hot water not always available. Nothing I didn't like. Very poor breakfast for the price and dark dinning room. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Nice pool and surrounding area with lots of great planting. Fresh fruit every afternoon. Food from the restaurant was very expensive for what it was (industrial and not savor compared to what you can get on the street for a price divided by 4). There was a camera in the restaurant... I didn't quite understand what kind of criminals could be in that quaint area, but didn't like the feeling of being filmed while eating at a 7 table restaurant. The bathroom was not very clean. A mosquito net would have been welcome.
