  An excellent hotel, with probably the best views in Copacabana, specially at the higher levels. I was at the 27th floor and with a view over the Pao de AÇucar from the bed itself, amazing. Excellent light and very confortable bed and room.   From the second we walked through the door our experience was amazing. The staff were so helpful and checked us in early, we had purchased a room with executive level access (well worth it as there is an open bar and lots of snacks/food available during the day free of charge!) and were upgraded to a suite with spectacular views of Copacabana Beac... what people say » h. Great location, excellent facilities including lounge chairs on the beach. All inclusive mini bar, late check out. We only stayed one night at the - Friendly and helpful staff. We had mentioned on the 'special request' of the booking form that the reason of the trip was for a special birthday. In our room we found a birthday cake and a bottle of champagne courtesy of the hotel which was a very nice gesture. Spacious reception area fantastic sea view if you get any of the front rooms perfect location very good housekeeping service

  We stayed at the sol Ipanema for 3 nights at the beginning of March. We chose a deluxe sea view room and it didn't disappoint. We were on the 11th floor and had fabulous views in both directions. The bed was comfortable and the room very clean. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast every morning and had 2 evening meals in the restaurant, the second time... what people say » because the rain was too heavy to venture out! Both meals were of a good quality. Other guests commented on the small rooftop pool but quite frankly - Incredible location..very clean and nice rooms. Though I had to wait about an hour to check in but the front desk infact particularly Mr. Leonardo was kind enough to check me into a spacious sea view room though I had a mountain view booking. The lobby is quite comfortable and they serve you very well and too be true very well priced. The roof top bar & pool again are a joy giving a breathtaking view of the beach all around. To sum up a great place to stay and I would return soon..
