We had an outstanding experience. Our hostess could not have been more helpful and considerate. The baked goods were delicious, the accommodations were extremely comfortable and convenient (we were able to return for lunch on two days) and the opportunity to park (in and out free) was a pleasant surprise.

An excellent and up market B&B. First and foremost, order the breakfast here - it is amazing and one of the best I've had while travelling. The facility is extremely nice - big clean rooms with a really nice pool area and comfortable common areas. It is located a couple of blocks outside of Bruges old town and it is a delightful 15 minute walk to the main square. Parking was easy & the neighborhood has everything you could ask for. It is an especially ideal place for families. They even provide small bathrobes for the kid

This was our second stay at the Hotel Royal. We returned to it because we enjoyed our first stay so much. This is a little gem of a hotel that deserves more than the three stars it currently has; it is at least a three-plus if not a four star standard. Since our last stay they have made many improvements on what was already a very nice hotel.
