the hotel was tucked away in poperinge near Ypres and was quite delightful. The rooms were very nice with excellent bathrooms. The 4 course set meal was delicious and good value for money. I will definitly book again ! -

The Aphrodite B& B was of 5 star standard with spacious rooms furnished to an exceptionally high standard. The host Heidi & Dirk were superb and most welcoming.
The breakfasts were wonderful and would keep us going for the day.
We would definitely stay there again.
Ideally located for Ieper and the battlefields of the First World War. Dirk is a first class guide to the area.

Polite and very good mannered staff from check in to bar service. Couldn't fault them on customer service.
Also good proximity of hotel to town centre, 5km: we drove to hotel, checked in, left car there and took taxi to town. Cost €20, a special deal the hotel has with a local taxi firm. Would have cost more to stay in a hotel in the town centre where parking is also quite expensive. All in all, it was a choice we made not just for the money saving side of it but mainly because we had come to
