When we looked at the write up online we were concerned that The Meininger may be a bit too basic and aimed at the young backpacker.
Whilst 'yes' a large part of the people staying were young and backpackers, we fittied in very well (We are just in our 50s !).

Everything about this hotel, from the moment you step in the front entrance is clean and tidy. It is minimal but everything you need for a comfortable stay. I stayed there with my partner and another couple and it was perfect considering we really only slept there. We stayed in the room with two single beds and a bunk and there was plenty of room. The hotel is excellently situated for public transport which is important in Brussels. The lower priced rooms are very good value for money. They are large with all the facilities such as iron, hair dryer, safe, coffee making facilities fridge and TV.
