We stayed in the one bedroom unit with our two young children. The room was large with a small but functional, fully equipped kitchen. The children slept comfortably on a pullout couch which converted into two twin beds. The bedroom had two single beds which, unfortunately, were quite firm and uncomfortable. Best location fo touring brussels, a walking distance from all main atractions and the central train station + a metro station right beneath. Our studio was very spatious and faced a small mall, which made it very quiet. Also, no noise from other rooms. Nice design, very comfortable and well equipped kitchenette. Very friendly and helpfull staff. For a stay longer than 4 nights they don't clean the room (unless you ask and pay for it) but. -As someone who has lived in Brussels when on exchange I can testify that the location is great (close to the subway, nieuwstraat and grand place, plus you dont have to walk up a steep hill as you would at botanique). The street itself is full of (don't worry you wont hear them) restaurants and bars. -The accomodation is more than we could wish for for this price (and will probably outdo many 5 star hotels in terms of amenities and location), mini dishwasher, bathtub, toilet seperate from bathr. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The apartment, while smaller than it looked on the internet pictures, was very comfortable. I especially liked that the sofa turned into two single beds that were comfortable. Although we were in downtown Brussels, the noise level was not bad if the windows were shut. The rooms are well sound proofed and you do not hear people in adjacent rooms, only occasional tables or beds being moved across the floor. This hotel is at an excellent location, right in the heart of the city. It is very well connected with public transport, a lot of buses, tram and metro connections are right outside of your door. The hotel itself is very clean, very well maintained. During my long stay, all the staff i met were very friendly, explaining everything you need to know and glad to help whenever needed. The Adagio was a very pleasant stay. We felt that they had really thought out the layout of the room to maximize every available space to make it more user friendly for guests. The best thing is the location. Easy walking of the Grand Place and St Catherine. It is located on the corner of a busy street so there was a little noise but we all slept very well. We stayed in a one bedroom four person flat and it had everything you could need. The wifi worked well on the 5th floor. Fair location close to the grand palace and other see-sights. Nice room with a well equipped kitchen and other facilities (iron, stereo, television and so on). the hotel is very close to the metro station (De Brouckère, M1 M5) which makes it very easy to reach from the train central station. The location is amazing - just 5 minutes walking (or less) from Grand Place and right on a big street which felt very safe to walk even at night. However Studio apartments are still no larger than an average hotel room, which was quite enough for my needs, but if you are looking for a lot of space, you may be disappointed. The only thing that would have made it better was if breakfast had been included with the price but not really a problem as kitchen meant it was no hassle to get our own. - The extra couch is less comfortable, but for children it was ok. The kitchenette was lacking a couple of things, like a bottle opener and toaster so a little disappointing. Other than that fantastic hotel. Would recommend. Room cleaning is NOT included in price. It was cold in the rooms. Asked for single bed - got twin beds. Nothing. Nothing. well, only one thing, that if you book between 4 and 6 days your room is not going to be cleaned at all, but still the provide you with a vacuum cleaner and you can have towels changed on request.. so at the end it wasn't that bad. the beds were hard as rocks!!!! We were there as tourists and due to the language barrier we basically just fended for ourselves when locating where we should go or how to get there! So I think we wasted time in deciding where to go, how to get there, etc. Nothing to dislike . Only thing to improve it would be a roof terrace to sit out in the evenings. The corkscrew in our room was bent and didn't work properly. Not much! The television kept losing its signal but we didn't go to watch television. As we stayed for 4 nights the room wasn't cleaned but they were happy to provide fresh towels. The room could of been a bit cleaner. The floor not clean when we arrived and there were some stains and dirt on the kitchen and bathroom sink and within the bath. I am honest when I say everything was in excelent conditions! So that is why it surprised us that the toilet paper wasn't that nice! Silly, but the only "negative". The bathroom water was warm (up to 38 C), but no hotter than that. So no extra indulgance...But we may take it as an environment and energy saver... It would have been convenient to have an electrical outlet in the bathroom. That's about it. The breakfast could have had more options and was not that good. TV was limited in English but this to be understood in terms of the number of English speaking people who would be there. . Hotel corridor carpets looked a little tired, this was my only issue with the hotel. 1. we had an inside studio without any view 2. We could not manage to put the heater of our blanket on. Nothing to not like. there are no "-"; everything was great. The breakfast is optional and the preparation is based on the number of requests, therefore quite scarce. I did not like the fact that the window was on the shopping passage and not having direct access to fresh air. You might consider asking for a room facing the street if this is an issue. none. Nothing. The room was cold and cleaned too rarely. I had a problem when making a change to my reservation, as initially I was given wrong information by the receptionist and told that there would be no charge, whereas the manager told me there would be a change in room rate and he was not at all helpful in sorting out the issue which ended up in me paying for 2 nights uselessly. None of my requests for related documentation to justify this cost were satisfied. The staff was very helpful but they didn't speak very good English. I was located on a high floor and the wifi didn't have a great signal. Small things, nothing that could make someone unhappy with their choice. Not everything in the kitchen had been properly cleaned. Rest of the room including bathroom very clean though.
