Located 650 metres from the central Grand Place, Atlas Hotel is set in the lively Dansaert District which accommodates a wide range of eating facilities. The recently redecorated guest rooms are world themed, each representing an individual country. The hotel is a 2-minute walk from Brussels' extended pedestrian area, one of the largest in Europe, and is close to several popular landmarks.
The guest rooms offer tea/coffee facilities, a minibar, high-quality beds and non-allergenic pillows and duvets. A breakfast buffet is available daily in the brightly decorated breakfast room. The hotel itself is located in quit surroundings, but within a 5-minute walk guests reach the Saint Géry Square, which offers a variety of restaurants and a lively night life. The European Commission and Parliament can be reached within 10 minutes from The Sainte Catherine Metro Station, which is a 5-minute walk away. What people say
The hotel was recently renovated in a very attractive way. The rooms are unusually large. Most look onto a large interior courtyard and are very quiet. The breakfast room is very attractive and the breakfast is very good, with wonderful breads, coffee, jogurt, jams, etc. but no hot dishes . The staff was exceedingly helpful and knowledgable. The location is excellent; ten minutes walk to the Grand Place, and many other tourist locations, as well as to some very good shopping streets. Many good . all reviews »
1.Hotel is after reconstruction - rooms are new and clean.
2.Location - 10 min walk to Grand Place.
3.Close to Brussels Centraal, we paid for taxi from the hotel to BC 6 euro or you can walk there around 20 min through the city centre.
4.Price.
5.A lot of cafes and restaurants close to the hotel - on Place Saint-Gery and Place Sainte-Catherine.
6.A funny "pissing dog" sculpture just round the corner:)
7.Parking.
The hotel is very centrally located, close to the Grand Place and in the middle of the bars/restaurants area. Yet the room I had was very quiet. The room, as well as the bath room, were also very spacious. The breakfast buffet was decent (continental style only though). I couldn't park in the hotel, but there are public car parks about 5 mins. away. The staff were happy to help and explain. The wifi works well.
We enjoyed our stay at Atlas.
The décor of the hotel is great and very well thought out. Very close to terrific seafood restaurants in the St. Catherine area and the café/bar scene of St. Gery. The location is very walkable to historic areas of Brussels and also close to the metro for excursions to other parts.
Breakfast was excellent.
The location was great, around 15 mins to central station and 7 or so to the main square.
The room was spacious and clean. The TV even had English channels. There was a free cote d'or chocolate on arrival.
Breakfast in the morning was great: cereals, croissants, bread, fruit, cold meat..... lots of choice.
Atlas Hotel was very clean, comfortable and very convenient for walking to the Grand Place and other sights of the city. Lots of restaurants and bars within short walking distance. Excellent breakfast. Took about 25/30 minutes to walk there from Brussels Midi station.
A "homely" hotel - like a pair of friendly slippers - a bit faded in places, but the welcome complementary drink, the waiting chess board and comfy chairs in the basement breakfast room, and the courteous and helpful staff (same as last time!) make you welcome.
Hotel was recently refurbished-room was truly superb for a three star hotel, staff friendly, breakfast very good and location fantastic (and English TV too!). I totally recommend this hotel -it will not disappoint. I would definately stay here again.
the hotel has just been renovated to a high standard,so all rooms are clean comfy and well equipted with tele, tea and coffee making machine and fridge. The hotel is a two minute walk from bourse metro station and just five minutes to the Grand Place.
The best place to stay in Brussels: close to the city centre, the main shopping street, central station, but it is situated in a quiet street. Staff is really impeccable. Good breakfast in a sophisticated dining room, welcome cocktails for guests.
The staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. The breakfast was fresh and well presented.
The hotel was clean and nicely decorated. It was an ideal location to restaurants, Grand Place and pick up for tours. The hotel was also quiet.

The hotel is very nice with a good location, friendly staff. The room is big and clean, renovated. Coffee/tea mashine in the room. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast could be better.
Location and functionality of rooms. Recent refurbishment has added further value. Prices during week-days still quite steep, but probably considered moderate for Brussels...
Location excellent. Within walking distance of the Grand Place and extremely close to one of the main shopping streets. Room very spacious and bathroom of generous size too!.

Perfect for a short city break and will certainly use it again.

I liked the courtesy for the room and the garage with my card for a disabled person.
Thanks again.
Friendly staff, ideal location, just about perfect. Would definitely go back for sure. Nice place!.
Close to the main sights yet in a quiet street. The breakfast was oustanding and staff helpful.
Great location, very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, very warm, clean. Great value for money.
Rooms were well equipped, nice to have a welcome drink in a three star. Excellent breakfast.
Centrally located, close to subway and lots of restaurants. Large room, very good breakfast.
Good location, secure underground parking (although a bit small), excellent breakfast.

free WIFI conexion
nice room.
Location is excellent, right near to the touristic center.
Safe box in the room.
-Perfect location. Lots of restaurant in the aera. -Nice room -
Breakfast ok.
Nothing I can remember.
1.The cost of the room was charged from my friend's credit card twice: 1. at the hotel by check-out. 2. in 2 days after coming home. Now we try to understand what was the reason for that. I hope it is a mistake.
The lamp next to my bed was a bit weak to read and its direction could not be adjusted.
The lack of air conditioning could be an issue in the summer. We found opening the window was enough. Some pillows could stand to be replaced.
The hairdryer! If you don't want a bad-hair day take your own.
We were completely satisfied with the hotel.
No restaurant/bar facilities.
Nothing, totally happy.
Not enough light in the room.
Rooms in need of modernisation, slightly dated and tired. Some furniture had scratches. Breakfast options need re-stocking when items run low. Went for breakfast at 8.30am on both mornings of our stay and ham was all gone, even though breakfast ends at 10am!.
Air conditioning is missing here is only fan.
Breakfast bar needs to have 2 coffee machines as there was a line of people waiting at weekend for the one machine.
Nothing!.
Weekday prices seem high.
No a lot of charm, but I don't believe charm is the intention of this hotel. It is modern in design with modern furnishings, which some people prefer.
breakfast was contrary to enthusiastic remarks posted by previous guests rather average...(so I was a bit disppointed).
Easy to walk around to the main attractions but the street is a little tricky to find at night walking back to the hotel. Triple Beer had nothing to do with it,:).
Could still feel the paint smell everywhere. Room took for ever to warm
up, even at full power the heater was only just warm.
Less option of Breakfast but I shoud accept it with just 80Euro.
Only one thing - not enough light in the room.
The waterboiler in room 71 is rusty inside.
Room at street side is noisy at night. No airoco or other climat control in the room.
Some noise from other guests one night - the hotel corridors echo a bit, but that's not unusual.
Nothing.
All was OK.
Did not like soap and body/hair gel offered.
-Noisy when room located next to the elevators -Receptionist a
little bit cold.
