What people say
The kindness of the staff, the location and the incredible Value for money. Short walk to train station, and to the city center. During weekends there's a market across the street w great food. Slanted floors, and entrance by the kitchen only adds character and an anecdotal element to the stay, I don't see why ppl would see it negatively. Staff was very outgoing, and w personality.all reviews »
beds were comfortable, rooms were stylish. Other than thenoisy bar area below our window, the hotel area was very quiet. In fact, I'm not sure if anyone else was staying in the hotel that night. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and that in spite of being very busy with the restaurant downstairs, which was always terrifically busy, with good cause, I might add.close to everything. Central location and reasonable price. The food was great. Excellent position, and good atmosphere in the restaurant. Food and service of high standard. The location of the hotel, a few minutes walk from downtown. The staff were very good, helpful etc. very centeral. The breakfast they provided was decent. Ease of access to all areas of Brugge. The location is excellent. place. I liked its location, only a short walk from the centre of Bruges. the staff. I made a reservation for one room and when I arrived there was no availability for the room I had reserved, so I need to pay more to stay in another room. Location is very good, but I didn't like the room very much, speccialy the small bathroom. It was good for one night but I would recomend it as the last choice if you intend to stay more. It was in a great location to easily access the sights in Brugges andthe staff was really nice. Near to the center; kind people in the hotel. The location was very central, right next to main car park. The price and the location. located in the centre. Location. Location is its only redeeming feature. Bedding was clean.only the location. Nothing, the services were poor. The staff was not friendly.Nothing. Nothing, for the rates It was definetly perfect!. Only thing I didn't like is that there is no room to leave one's luggage for the day after checking out. You'll need to leave your luggage at the train station (30 seconds away by bus.) At the train station you have to pay between 3-5 euros for up to 72hrs. Not bad. hotel staff is primarily concerned wth running the restaurant below. However, they wee very nice about putting my water bottle in the freezer for me. There was no one in the building when we checked out at 6:30 AM. They were kind of rude to e when I asked if they had an alarm clock available for our use, but they may have not realized that I was staying there. Our room did have a shower, but it was really rather poor. More of a dribble than a shower!. The room wasnt great, but the price was cheep. wc wasnt in the room. Some of my party had cold rooms. They didn't find my reservation at the moment of check-in. For gluck, they had a free room for us.We had to change rooms 3 times they need to redecoratd but then the cost of staying would go up. You get what you pay for. Yes, the fact that there was no toilet in the room.Room waste paper basket only emptied on second day. No en suite toilet and shower room down a flight of stairs. Shower room locked. No information on arrival about use of shower or if extra cost involved. The room was freezing cold.Breakfast very limited, no choice was given, and when a request was made it was rejected. the room. The bed was super uncomfortable two small matresses in a big bed that inthe end was too small for the two matresses!. Worst shower in my life, and I paid extra 15 euro to have a shower in my bedroom. The bed was irregular.Yes.having to pay 3 euro extra to use the shower.and one day the hotelwas shut so could not see any one to get the key for the shower room.socould not shower that day.not impressed at all. The rooms were small, the bed uncomfortable, WC outside of the room, shower one floor down and of very poor state/quality. Smell, old, the floor room was tilted, the bathroom on the corridor, theshower in the same room where you sleep (added later), bad door lock, bad stairways to level three - old building, no tv, no wi fi. Shower costs 3 euro, was not known beforehand.Room sloped markedly to one side. Felt dizzy walking on the floor. 50 euros seemed cheap (this was the price without beakfast) but the room needed cleaning, the stairway was dark and very steep, the heating was not on in the room, use of the shower was 3 euros per person extra and therefore it was really bad value for money. The level of accomodation was very poor. Shower was impossible to control making it unuseable. It was situated in a busy place and was therefore noisy. The morning breakfast was poor consisting of a slice of processed cheese and a roll. the hotel is not a hotel, I would say it's a hostel. we had a terrible triple room with shared bathroom (the review said it has), the bed were more than terrible and the breakfast incredible poor, just a piece of bread and some cheese and ham for person. I repeat, this is not a hotel. If you want to enjoy your time in that beautiful city don't stay to this place.Directions to hotel poor although local public parking easy to access. Reception straight forward but not special. Access to rooms via rear of kitchen, very poorly lit with dangerous stair carpet. Bedroom very basic. Bed excessively weak interms of mattress. So called on suite extremely cramped and basic. Entire experience poor and reletively expensive. Not courteous at all, if you stand for more than 30 seconds in the reception (restobar n reception is same) you are stared at, as if you have committed a crime. Free breakfast may be free but not worth to be called a breakfast at all. You have no choice of bread, whatever you are given either eat or leave the table. Beds really uncomfortable, you can hardly sleep. The services were poor. The staff was not friendly. First you need to pass throw the Hotel's restaurant, and then open the kitchen’s door and take the stairs up to get into the room. Looks like a funny movie. The room was in very bad conditions, terrible. Even for free, I would not come back.i would never recommend this hotel to anybody - its a waist of money. . Brugge has better hotel or BB for the same price.
