Excellent location right in front of the Cathedral and near to bars and restaurants. We had our room upgraded to a larger room overlooking the Cathedral square. Bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was €5 extra per person per day which was quite reasonable for the area of Antwerp. Price and location are unbeatable. Very friendly. Glass-enclosed bath in center of room is not for everyone, but we liked it. This spot seems designed for hip travelers, probably young and involved, or for aging hipsters like us.

Superb, central location, within easy walking distance of the Xmas markets and all the main shops, sights, cafes and restaurants. Loved the glass shower cubicle in the middle of the bedroom!. Rooms were cool...beds were comfy, and many a hotel could learn how to do the 5 euro breakfast from them. Will certainly try their syster hotel in Antwerp next time to compare!. Poorly Decorated reception/bar. The interior of hotel was shabby and tired and overall, didn't seem like value for money. The room resembled a dungeon. the decor is a matter of personal opinion, but we did not like the fact virtually everything was black (which showed every bit of dirt), or the fact the bath was in the middle of the bedroom. We asked for the heating to be turned off in our room as the thermostat was broken but that didn't happen. Overlooking the cathderal means bin men collecting rubbish late at night and shops setting up early in morning. black painted room - Looks very, very strange very dark rooms (no lights) you cannot see anything in the room very poor breakfast too expensive for what it is. Outside was ALWAYS very noisy. As there is no air conditioner, and was hot, the windows were open - we could not sleep at night! The open bathroom was horrible! Taking the shower you automatically find yourself in the middle of your bed room. If you have kids with you - this is extremely uncomfortable and confusing. There was a lot of dust flying everywhere and hanging on the entirely black walls. Sometimes room makers forgot to leave enough towels for everybody. Scruffy, noisy (I was in a room overlooking the square) no a/c.
