Great location. Friendly, helpful staff. Large, clean room with lovely en-suite shower room. Good check in / check out times. Nice breakfast. Nice rooms. Good breakfast. Our room (No 4) was so "over-the-top" with the white leather that it was brilliant. The hotel is funky on the outside and has character/quirkiness inside. The location is pretty good for Vienna's sights and handy for the U-Bahn. The staff were attentive and polite, Michael (on night-shift) was particularly chatty and helpful, a big thanks to him.

If you have GPS you realize it's almost near the center.We needed to spend a night in Vienna on our way to a ski resort, so it was ok.I wouldnt havent spent more than one night in this hotel. fire doors fall shut noisily next to room, depending on how careful guest would operate them, Socket in room for laptop was not usable, Whiff of smoking detectable from previous guest although a non-smoking room has been requested. It's not petty (honest) but when in the breakfast room, the ding-dong of the hotel entrance door system gets on your nerves! So, sit around the corner.... Only one point about breakfast: we had the same food in three morning. May be, a little at the breakfast when a Mr who supervise together dogs. staff´s dogs. I would suggest the receptionist to provide couples with a room of one king bed, because they gave us two beds and they could not be moved as the night table between them was adjusted to the wall! The breakfast was poor! We even decided not to eat there and went to the city to have breakfast!. no heating in the bathroom. The room was rather noisy, so it was not possible to sleep in a silence. Shower had no curtain so it was not possible to take a shower comfortably. Hotel has no parking – we had to park on a street, but fortunately this parking is free during the holyday. Breakfast is poor. My room is very quiet as I requested in my booking. But it seems that nobody stay in that room for a long time because it's quite dusty in every corner. And also the towels are poor.The staff didnt really speak english.I asked for a spoon and they gave me a knife, then a fork.We had to use the sign language.The room was smelly and overlooking some kind of old building (view of dirty marmalade pots in the neighbours's windows).The bathroom was extremely cold,the towels smelled badly, were stiff and seemed dirty.
