  Freindliness, cheerfulness and helpfulness of staff. Being small sized and fanily run it had a distinctive personality and we were treated as individuals not standardised units of consumption. Also especially well located for my wife who has mobility diffioculties. - The hotel has individual character and charm.   Staff was very helpful and polite. We arrived late and could easily get keys to our room from the security safe provided. The receptionist gave us directions and a map to guide our day trip that was great, and we were able to make our Salzburg Card right there. Room was spacious and clean, bathroom very well lit. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station. Although it is not necesarilly near the main centre of town, it was an easy 15-20 minute walk. Hotel is located on a quiet street, and the hotel is secure so you must have a card to get access inside. I stayed in a single room, so it was simple but just what I needed after a long day of touring.

  Very friendly and nice host couple, great location. Spacious apartment with three rooms, a toilet and a bathroom, excellent for us (2 adults w 2 kids (11,14). Included in the stay was the Zell/Kaprun card, which among other things gave us free access to cable cars, etc. We estimated that we saved €500 during our week in Zell.   The family who run the hotel are absolutely delightful people who could not have been more helpful and had excellent English. The food was lovely, the room was beautiful, everything was spotlessly clean and so nice and warm.
