  The owners are very friendly, advised us on anything we asked. Food was tasteful. Very clean and relaxing hotel. But if you are after busy night life - this wouldn't be the right place for you. Beautiful views in winter.

  We absolutely loved the hotel. It was located right in the town. We wereable to walk around and take a ferry to another town. The people thatran the hotel were just wonderful. They took the time to make sure wewere comfortable. We felt like they really cared about our comfort.   Martha Hotel is ideal for skiers. You can end your ski day exactly at the back entrance of the hotel...putting your skis in a special closet and boots on a warm hanger to dry for next day. Breakfast was good, but the warm food (scrambled eggs and bacon everyday) could have some kind of variety.   It was a delightful experience. While reading some of the reviews priorto being there I did have a few concerns. But after having been thereand experiencing first hand none of those negative comments applied. We experienced no noise. - The Star Hotel in Salzburg was brilliant! its location to the city,via a walk through a pedestrian tunnel puts you within a hundred metres of the main shopping area.Our room was spotlessly clean and although it overlooked the main road into the city we did not experience any roadnoise.The staff were always very polite and smiling(a rare commodity these days).

We could buy our ski cards from hotel, which was a big help.
