Everything was excellent. If you want to have both museums and good shopping nearby hotel Beethoven is proper choice. The Museum of Art History is of the world importance, Hofburg, Stephandom and Museum Quarter- 10 min., Karskirhe (concerts, in august the theaters on holidays), Secession, Akademy of fine Arts Gallery - 3 min. Theater an der Wiene and Opera are quite near. The Hotel offers excellent breakfasts, koffee and tea in the room (our was 503) - free, concerts on Sundays with shampaigne

Very friendly staff, close to the lift (5 min by walk), next door from bus stops (to Mountains and back to Mayerhofen train staition), 3 min walk from ski rent: on the way to the lift. We were there only for a day but we loved the hotel. It's location is convenient as it is right next to the U4, but if one has time it's even possible to walk downtown. The staff is polite and helpful. All in all, we were pretty pleased and will definitely visit the hotel again when we're in Vienna. - The staff at the front desk were very friendly
