At Wyndham, Sydney my sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, and the room facilities were excellent; boasting an amazing view of the city. This is the first motel I have stayed at which offered valet parking; and was definitely the cherry on top of a great stay. We stayed in a one bedroom apartment. It was very comfortable, spacious, clean and had a kitchenette, which was very convenient. It only took us 15-20mins to walk to Darling Harbour. The staff greeted us with a friendly face and were very informative. Thank you.
all reviews Central location. We could park a car underneath, but cost $30 a day. Newish apartment block, so modern. Loved the continuous flow through ventilation in the rooms. Liked having a kitchenette, but there was almost no room to store our own food. The staff were all very friendly and efficient both when checking in and out. The 1BR apartment was very bright, clean and well equiped for our needs. Location close to train shops and entertainment. Great choice by me!! Great location for us following the Lions Rugby, near to bars & walkable to Circular Quay etc, maybe one way only, taxi back. VFM for Sydney. Loved the staff they were so helpful and friendly. The rooms were a really good size and they had a sofa bed and kitchenette. The location was convenient for us to walk to dinner in Surry Hills. All expectations were met and we had quite a comfortable stay. central location, self catering,. It would be better if the rooms had double glazed windows to dull the noise of sirens down in the street. Bedroom was too small, could only just walk around the bed, and could not fit our suitcases in. Awful lighting in the bathroom, could not see to put makeup on, needs a light over the mirror, not half a metre behind you. With suitcases in lounge, that became cramped. Disappointed there were no laundry facilities in our apartment. no dishwasher-had a wedding and just no time to do dishes plus ruined manicures!. Small sofa and chair not very comfortable. Balconies only a foot in depth so could not sit out. sometimes I could hear the people next door when they were loud. Air conditioning seemed to struggle Lifts seemed to slow in requests to run. Uncomfortable furniture, poor room layout, small accommodations, mold on shower ceiling. aspect of building outside, we were wondering at first????. Nothing all good. Bedroom small for the double bed configuration, Gym very poor. Nothing. Staff member was on the telephone to another customer at the same time as checking us out. Staff were happy for us to use the luggage trolley but didn't offer to assist us to take it up to our rooms, just told us to put it in the lift to send it back down. Costly Internet - should be included in tarif, Pokey shower, fixed glazing in bedroom, only UHT milk available.
