We only stayed at Rosewood Guesthouse for 1 night but loved every moment of it. Our room was lovely and our breakfast was brilliant - we loved the waffles! Keith and Jane were welcoming hosts - we were particularly grateful for Keith's dinner recommendations - we would have had no idea where to choose otherwise! The Rosewood Guesthouse is in a great location in Margaret River - perfect for exploring the surrounding area. We wished we could have stayed longer!.
all reviews I loved the gourmet breakfast! The owners, Keith and Jane, know just how to make your stay perfect. I wouldn't change a thing. My favourite time of day was the evening, (exhausted from touring), sitting on the deck with a bottle of wine and looking at their beautiful garden. The hosts were welcoming, friendly and informative and were a central feature of what makes Rosewood a wonderful place to stay. The food and atmosphere were welcoming and a very high standard. The house is also very convenient, being close to the centre of Margaret River. Very clean, friendly, and comfortable. Lovely home made breakfast byJane & Keith who also gave us some good local restaurant/winery tips. Easy to walk into Margaret River. Will be staying again... Absolutely everything. Breakfast were wonderful, great start to the day. The welcome made us feel at home straight away. Plenty of information available. Great place to rest, relax and unwind. Thankyou. The guesthouse was warm & cozy. We loved the electric blankets on our bed and the public lounge room was inviting. The location is perfect. We will definitely recommend Rosewood. Lovely comfortable room and bed, spectacular garden and quiet location, great local knowledge and friendly advice from Jane and Keith, 15 minute stroll to restaurants and shops. It was very cosy. The Room we had was spacious, well appointed and clean (I am very particular). The breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were friendly and had lots of local information. We found the Jane & Keith to be extremely personable and we will definitely be staying again!!. I loved their hospitality and willingness to go above and beyond. I can not think of anything that is sufficiently important to mention as being a negative. Absolutely nothing. Overall, I found the service staff in Margaret River in restaurants and cafes a little unfriendly this time. Our guesthouse hosts were lovely but I was disappointed with the "cool" service received in shops, the Dome cafe and restaurants. It seems the local towns people forget that Perth people are in their town for a relaxing break; not to be treated as if we don't belong. the pillows were a little too hard for us. Nothing. needs better interior signage for rooms, shower box was a bit small for a big bloke, and hard to shower, we heard generator noise during the night. Nothing. absolutely nothing. Could do with more up market products in the bathroom.
