The location was great, close enough to walk in to Margaret River centre and good location for exploring the region. A great Apartment was roomy and lovely and clean with plenty of equipment to cook with.I didn't come in to contact with staff until check out as we arrived late in the evening. But what I experienced was good quality.
all reviews Apartment was very well appointed with thoughtful facilities such a washing machine, dryer and even a dishwasher. Above all else, it was very clean and family friendly !! My family was thrilled at the accommodation which was second to none considering the 4 other locations we stayed in WA (including Perth City). the rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable great to have full kitchen and laundry. the lounge was comfortable the location was good the staff on phone were very friendly It's great you are doing a survey and care enough to ask - asking is easy, but doing is hard - good luck!. We booked a two-bedroom apartment but got a three bedroom apartment so each of our adult kids got their own room. The design, layout and comfort level of the apartment suited us very much plus the location of the hotel is ideal - just minutes' drive from wineries, breweries and more. Everything about the apartments was very good. The apartment was well kept, the beds were very comfortable., and everything that was needed was on hand. The only reason I gave the staff a lower rating was because we did not see much of the staff and did not need to. The rooms were spotlessly clean. Beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was spacious and well equiped. I have already recommended Forte Leeuwin Apartments to all my family and friends.Fantastic place to stay. Location in Margaret River is great. Spa, Gym and Pool facilities are well maintained. Accommodation is large and comfortable with adequate parking on site. Check in and out was easy and friendly. I have stayed here before, it's close to the golf club and close to town. For a few couples this place is perfect and as we do a girls weekend there is plenty of room to spread out. The property was situated just far enough from the main drag to be quiet and close enough for a walk in for collecting grocery supplies or going out for a meal. -Fully equipped kitchen with all common-use utensils -Large bathrooms -Laundry room in the apartment -Quiet surroundings -Very clean and well-maintained. Perfect for a family, we travelled with a 1 & 4yr old apartment was very clean and spacious pool was brilliant, location fantastic. The apartment was large, comfortable and well-appointed. Certainly this aspect was as expected. I thought the staff were very helpful and the rooms are designed great and location very good. The fact that there were separate bathrooms for the two couples occupying the apartment. We liked the surprise of getting a 3 bedroom apartment when we'd paid for two rooms. The rooms, lounge area are spacious. Conveniently located close to town centre. Everything - the staff were extremely helpful and the accommodation was perfect. Cleanliness of apartment and the very well equipped apt. Location was great. Is Location clean and tidy all of the complex staff very good. The 3 Bedroom was perfect for a group of friends or a family. -Nice , all kitchen cabinet stuffs are good condition ;). Great modern and spacious apartments - we loved it!. Convenient location. Apartments are well separated from each other. is just like staying at home... I couldn't fault the apartment. What could have been done as it was apparently the low season, was for an apartment on the lower level to be assigned to us so that we did not have to lug our luggage up to the second level.... But this should not be viewed as a complain. the biggest annoyance was the noise from kids - I requested specifically to be in quiet location though understand this can't be 100% controlled. there were empty tubes of someone else's shampoo left on the bathtub sill- not cleaned in ages. Hair on bed. Would be nice if there was a small cafe for breakfast on premise. The dishwasher smelled like old water and stank out the apartment. the menu/folder was not clean. What's not to like? It was great. Basic fittings and finishes. Noisy dishwasher. Dryer was too loud and noisy when in operations. This whole area is quite expensive and almost prohibitive when it comes to locating value for money accommodation - Fort Leewin was at the top end for us as a couple. Didn't stay long enough to fins anything to dislike :). The main reason we picked this establishment over others was because of the advertised Fitness Centre. Unfortunately this was very disapponting - poorly maintained and broken equipment. My complaints were answered with a comment of " it's been broken since last week" with no indication of when equipment would be fixed. Perhaps the parking - it was full the hotel the night we stayed but we were meant to have 2 parks in front of our room and they were taken by someone else, perhaps when booking in this can be emphaised - really not a problem and like I said hotel was full. The two elderly couples having to climb to the upper floor. Nothing really. Just a comment though. Would have liked flyspray supplied in the unit as you don't think to bring that and our kitchen was overrun by ants because some food was forgotten on the bench. That we were not able to stay longer. Nothing. Every thing was great!. Nothing. may be should have free wifi as most of hotel now will provide free wifi. don't get a room near the swimming pool/ spa. Even though it closes at 7.30pm people hop the fence and party in the spa in the early hours of the morning. There is no reception after hours but the manager did attend when phoned. TV is tiny and old style. I didn't expect this when paying high rates. Nothing. Insufficient hot water supply during shower; water was cold after multiple users. No heaters or aircon units in the other 2 rooms. Only masterbed room had aircon. It was very cold (about zero degrees) and my mother was freezing. Some glasses and crockery not completely clean. Tv no remote in main bedroom. Not even a plunger coffee pot - small outlay! Did not like the opening statement in the Guest Advice Book regarding cleaning and have to have washed and dryed the dishes etc- towels all in one bathroom. These are things that you cover in your tarriff. Nothing to dislike. Paying for wi fi. Didn't use it because of the extortionate cost - this spoils the stay. Poor visibility in the dark around steps leading to apartments. Not being able to park near apartment - the parking spots were all taken up. The list of don't s in the apartment - it's like being back at school!. I do not like to do house chores.
