We loved -we made a request for a late check out and was contacted before we checked in to confirm -we were also given a quiet room away from the main road as we had requested -the location of the apartments -the welcoming and friendly check in/out from Kate at the front office -the cleanliness of the room -the modern and fresh decor of the rooms and hotel -the quiet atmosphere and lovely layout of the hotel -the pool area looked very inviting for summer -the lobby area was relaxing -the roo.

I rented a cot that was provided at a flat rate of $10 no matter how many days we stayed. The cot was also very clean with sheets and blanket that with attractive prints that children like. It is way better than some of the cots I have rented at other apartments. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. we stayed in the studio apartment: we liked the heating in both rooms, the spa bath, quiet, comfortable, relaxing, location, serviced daily, pool although we didn't use it, balcony, the kitchen, two televisions, washing machine and dryer were handy, lots of cupboard space, homey feeling. We were only going for a short stay and wanted to be central to the food/markets/galleries on Bussell Hwy. We were given a room facing the forest which was great and extremely quiet at night. The staff were welcoming and happy to answer any questions. I liked that the bed was super big and it slept my husband, myself and three young kids comfortably! It was helpful that the room was stocked up with cutlery as we had to dine in because it was raining the night we spent there. We were located in the town, close to all restaurants and the "Dome " for our breakfasts, but felt like we were in the wilderness. We were lucky to have our request met and had a studio room backing onto the forest. Nice hotel. Friendly staff who allowed us to check in at 10:00am as we had to move there from another hotel nearly. Clean and comfortable room. Near to shops and restaurants but still quiet location. The complex was lovely and quiet and right next to the Main Street of town. Cafes were in walking distance. The pool area looked lovely though it was to cold to swim and the tennis courts were great. Darby park is clean and comfortable. My husband and I have stayed there before and will be staying there again. It is close to the town centre so it is close enough to walk for dinner. There was plenty of parking and the staff at reception were so kind and helpful. The apartment itself was spacious, clean and quiet. I have nothing negative to say about this place!. We stayed in a studio apartment. -The built in furniture seemed a bit outdated. We would have like to see a built in robe with mirrors - The shower taps were located in the middle of the shower, it would have been better on the side of shower head. It was hard to turn on and adjust water without burning ourselves with the hot water. It was also quite a high bathtub to get in and out of. The reception staff that checked me in didn't seem very friendly. I checked in right after another gentleman and the information given to him was more extensive than what was provided to me. For example, I heard the staff tell him the complimentary wifi details but she only told me when I asked. the room cards were always playing up, no extraction fan in bathroom, no internet in rooms, no movie channels. There was nothing we didn't like. Would definitely stay here again. There was no shelter between the blocks and the lobby or the rooms to the car park, which is unfortunate when it rains. There were also no umbrellas available in the room for loan, so we all got pretty drenched making our way around. Check out was also really early at 10!. It rained on our last day as we were packing the car to leave :) Big deal, got a little wet :). Nothing bad to report. No wifi in rooms. Plus no gym within the complex. Shower taps and mould around bathtub. Slamming door when our neighbours from upstairs entered and left their rooms. Would not be so much of an issue if we did not have a sleeping baby travelling with us. Studio apartments need a bit more kitchen facilities. The fragrance of the cleaning materials or room spray were very overpowering and we had to open all the windows to air the apartment. Stain on the bed cover. all good. How early the pool closed. Spa bath didn't work. Nothing springs to mind. all great. Requested the king single beds be split for the 2nd nights stay and this did not happen - it wasn't such a big deal though, as the beds form quite a large king bed. nothing. Nothing. nothing. Nothing. A choice of pillows would be good. Heated pool was not heated!. Bathroom need upgrade, re: stains in shower and tiles grouting.
