We stayed for the pet friendly room, will now be staying more often and recommending to our pet friends. The price was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was hot, and toast was still warm, lovely! There was a folder in the room with good local info. Being pet friendly was a great thing for us. Not too many around that do this. Will stay there again in the future as a great location and walking distance to alot of eateries.

The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. The place was spotless and whilst a little aged was excellent value for money. I would highly recommend for most travellers. clean linen and tidy room. Basic but comfortable reasonable rate. convenient location for restaurants, beach and walking. Staff friendly and helpful. We were made to feel very welcome. Lovely and clean and comfortable. Breakfast was sufficient. Owners were very pleasant. great facilities and location, stff very cheerful and helpful. we would certainly recommend and gg back again. Price was right, and the garden view in my room was lovely. Staff went to trouble to give me a dvd player. The staff were very helpful, and I liked that I was offered fresh milk when I arrived. Staff were excellent, very friendly. Great location close to everything. It was clean and very quiet. The four of us had a very relaxing sleep. It was by the beach and shops and eating places. Perhaps a little far away from shopping, but a 5-10 minute walk fixes that. Nothing wrong, all good. Nothing. Nothing. The fact that we booked a pet friendly room but, the manager looked shocked that we had 2 small dogs. And then we were charged an extra fee for both dogs. All other pet friendly Motels/cabins we have stayed in, only ever charged us for the second dog. Sorry we were not supplied with a t-towel so we could have washed the dishes and packed them away as we usually do. The shower head needs to be fixed. Ants in the Kitchen. Didn't like having to wait nearly ten minutes while the receptionist answerd a phone call about tours. Didn't like the 16 outdoor stairs. didn't like the very old front door with rusty lock. Didn't feel welcome when the fridge wasn't turned on despite our having booked a week previously. The motel room I had was rather old and in need of a upgrade. If I was staying in hervey bay again I would probably try somewhere else. We woke to a lot of ants becasue we left some food on the bench , I dont hold that against the place but it could probably do with an ants nest somewhere getting treated. As soon as we disposed ofthe food they all disappeared , clever ants. No cooking utensils, some lights didn't work, lacked privcy. Longue chairs need replacing. very dated decor. a little tired and needs updating. smokers. Room furnishings poor quality and run down. Twin bed arrangement quite strange with a wall and a window in between the beds. Room had a bad smell.
