Staff were exceptionally helpful, and looked after us very well, especially when we left behind some luggage and they helped us out to get it back. Room was large and comfortable. Restaurant was well-priced and good, simple food. Friendly staff, quiet at night, plenty of parking, close to shopping centre for food etc. one of the best value spots we've stayed at. Highly recommend to others. Plenty of space in the room. Lots of nice touches as well.
all reviews » The location was excellent for my needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. We went for a quiet long weekend away and the motel was; quiet, clean, relaxing and great value for money. Clean, comfortable unit. Very friendly, co-operative and helpful staff, particularly when we left a blanket behind and the staff arranged to return it by mail. Found the staff very helpful & friendly. Restaurant very good all in all a very nice experience. Loved the breakfast also enjoyed be able to watch Foxtel. We enjoyed the quietness of the motel also the owner and staff were really nice. The restaurant is good meal was lovely. A big thumbs up guys. staff were friendly and organised flowers and chocolates and champagne without any fuss .job well done,restaurant was excellant. Very clean and well appointed. Nothing it was perfect. Was just a shame it's a little ways away from the main town. no cutlery,had a toaster but on knife to spread butter. Nothing. Car needed to get into Forster itself. No microwave or cooking facilities other than jug and toaster. No soy milk in fridge, no plates and cutlery for self catering. Bathroom needs more light (flourescent), and bathroom door opens on to toilet. Exhaust fan very noisy, with no option to not have it on. Nothing. Plumbing getting tired and noisy. The dish I had in the restaurant was very salty. Noisy Fridge. Bunk beds are chipped and need painting. Bathroom needs automatic fan to be installed as you can't open curtains to outside while showering and bathroom gets very foggy and wet. That is was out of town. I didn't like that reception hours were from 7am-7pm and we arrived at 6.40 and reception was shut. I didn't like the fact the restraurant was closed because the chef simply didn't show for work, hence no room service as advertised. We arrived late and realised 1 bed was broken, unfortunately 1 family member could not sleep that night. Reported the next day but no relief on the cost was offered or given. thin walls, smell of smoke when we turned on our bathroom fan. Rip in carpet between beds very dangerous. Bathroom - Broken tile Mirror needs replacing. no shelves under basin, part of timber around basin in chipped off, toilet old. Showerhead in ceiling and in middle of a spa bath. décor tired and old. Also ordered bruschetta we were served make your own and it was disgusting. Brenda. room very much in need of refit. Nothing. Meal process costly.
