You felt like you were in one of the luxury mountain escapes for a fraction of the price. Excellent hospitality all round. A cosy fire in the attractive living room was available for our use to meet and relax in the evening. Lovely mountain walks available in the vicinity of the accommodation.

  One of our best B&B experiences ever. Cheryl and Richard obviously love hosting visitors at their outstanding location. They are so friendly and knowledgeable about the Scenic Rim area that our stay ended with our wish that we could stay even longer. Our accommodation was lovely, well appointed and spacious.   We were able to bring out puppies to enjoy our stay and they also loved it. We all felt right at home, everything was beautiful and very clean and fresh. The gardens were just beautiful. Breakfast was a real treat with fresh local produce. Would definitely stay again. - Liked the owners, very friendly! Also the wildlife and the gardens are lovely... what people say » . The cuisine was excellent - all homemade and great value for money and important to me... free wifi and a great spa bath! And as the venue has been recently refurbished, everything was super clean and smart and in really good condition.   The easy going charm. This property was obviously a dream which has begun to blossom.   Ken & Margaret are friendly and excellent host. They had the room ready when we arrived at 11am since I informed them that I needed to drop off our luggage before we head to the theme park down the mountain.... Ken was helpful to share the things to do while up in the mountains... Love the breakfast that included bowl of mixed fruits and berri... what people say » es, cooked breakfast (bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomato, toast) or crepe (banana or mixed berries), tea, coffee, juice.... It was sumptuous. Location was - Ken and Margaret, the owners, were wonderful and entered in to the spirit of why we were there (to get married in Mount Tambourine). The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We felt very safe and comfortable at Amber Lodge. It was very central for what we wanted to do and Ken and Margaret very knowledgeable about what was around and what to do.
