The gardens, shared balcony, private deck, walkways and overal layout were fantastic for a "Bed and Breakfast" setup. You felt like you were in one of the luxury mountain escapes for a fraction of the price. Excellent hospitality all round. They go to a lot of effort to make you feel welcome, happy to suggest key locations and dining experiences

Comfortable rooms, friendly and well-informed hosts, excellent breakfast, spectacular views, numerous native birds and relaxed atmosphere. A cosy fire in the attractive living room was available for our use to meet and relax in the evening. Lovely mountain walks available in the vicinity of the accommodation.

love hosting visitors at their outstanding location. They are so
friendly and knowledgeable about the Scenic Rim area that our stay ended
with our wish that we could stay even longer. Our accommodation was
lovely, well appointed and spacious. We stayed in the Oriental Suite.

We were able to bring out puppies to enjoy our stay and they also loved it. We all felt right at home, everything was beautiful and very clean and fresh. The gardens were just beautiful. Breakfast was a real treat with fresh local produce. Would definitely stay again. -

Eva and her husband are excellent hosts. As I was the only guest that night I got the red carpet treatment! The cuisine was excellent - all homemade and great value for money and important to me... free wifi and a great spa bath!

We loved the old world comfort. The room was very comfortable with a lovely view from the bedroom window of the garden, also a very private small verandah. We also loved the continental breakfast lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt,cereal etc.It was very wet for our stay and our host had other activities games,DVDs a great selection of books.

The easy going charm. This property was obviously a dream which has begun to blossom.
Loved the visit by the chickens,the free, free range eggs. cosy and not so new that you're scared to touch and explore. really loved how close it was to walk to shops and food out lets. really loved the bead shop. even learnt to make my own beads. got to love the

Ken & Margaret are friendly and excellent host. They had the room ready when we arrived at 11am since I informed them that I needed to drop off our luggage before we head to the theme park down the mountain....

Location was -
Ken and Margaret, the owners, were wonderful and entered in to the spirit of why we were there (to get married in Mount Tambourine). The food was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We felt very safe and comfortable at Amber Lodge. It was very central for what we wanted to do and Ken and Margaret very knowledgeable about what was around and what to do.
