We stayed with my older parents in the three bedroom cottage opposite which was located opposite the motor inn. Well appointed newly renovated quaint cottage, beautiful kitchen, new bathrooms and laundry. If you are travelling with others , this is a wonderful option, as it has everything you need and is within walking distance to woollies,Coles and the mall, not to mention the boat.. We where 3 adults on a week end stay for Easter. I booked for Friday night and the room was very good so I booked it again for our return on Sunday night. Very comfortable to stay at, would recomend any time.
all reviews » Very helpful staff. Allowed us to check in earlier as we were tired from our rough trip over on the ferry! Breakfast was cooked beautifully! We were so happy we are staying there again this Sunday night!. My Mum and I loved being close to everything plus it's the 2nd time we have stayed and it very clean, tidy and comfortable. It's just like home away from home to us now. We will be back. We were so happy with our location in relation to both the CBD and the Bluff. The service was friendly and unobtrusive, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the pool.... BLISS!. Service was excellent. Staff went out of their way to accomodate us. Very happy with the service. Great cooked breakfast, very comfortable bed, WiFi access, ground floor room, easy parking, well located, heated indoor pool, very quiet and relaxing. Easy access to visitor places of interest within surrounding areas. The actual Cottage it was wonderful to stay in home style accommodation. The staff were reasonably helpful. Convenient location. was clean and tidy. The expectations were made clear by the manager on arrival - ie: check out procedure etc. Ok. Unhelpful and disinterested Manager. Was close to Town. My Mum is 85 and would swim except that there is no safety railing getting into the pool so she is too frightened she might fall getting in or out. It was a shame because the weather wasn't so cold this time. The yellow sponge provided as a dishcloth in the kitchenette. WiFi wasn't free and access time had to be purchased from Jimojo. that it was the end of our holiday and would have liked to have stayed longer. It was a bit dated, but not really a problem. Nothing. None. No hot water for showers in the morning. no light over the front door. the bed was very old and the main lights didnt work. Arriving on a very cold day and no heater was turned on,having stairs to carry our cases up,and not as clean as I would have liked. One of the electric blankets didn't work, and it was freezing. Very noisy refrigerator, kept on waking us up with its noise when motor started. The owner was arrogant and rude. When I arrived he didn't even say hello !. Rooms were a little dated. Unfriendly attitude of check in manager. Old and dated Bed sheets were clean but bed itself very old could feel the springs. Couldnt bring myself to actually sleep in it so put heater up high and just slept on top.
