  The welcome by receptionist was excellent, telling us not only about the motel but also about Byron Bay. A 2 minute walk to the beach through the back gate of the motel and across sand dunes. A walk of a further 5 mins or so along the beach brings you into Byron Bay. Walk along pleasant road into B.Bay took 10 mins max all on the level,thus an exc... what people say » ellent location. We arrived by Greyhound Coach and it took us no more than 15 minutes to get there on foot. The motel was spotlessly clean both inside - Great service! They were keen to help with anything, provided a continuous supply of toiletries/tea/coffee /hot chocolate and even had umbrellas, towels and games that we could borrow for free. The bed was very comfortable and it was great to have air conditioning and foxtel in the room. The beach is literally a minute away and it's a 2 minute walk from the main street.

  The location and the way the house is decorated - simple and stylish - makes you feel relaxed and at home from the moment you walk in. It even smells good and is impeccably clean, plus includes breakfast and cooking facilities. It's perfectly located away from the town in a residential oasis. The gardens are so lush and tropical, you don't hear ... what people say » the main road and can walk to the back beach- bit more rough and natural. It attracts a good crowd of like minded sorts. We had fun watching the Aust - The rooms decor and the whole house was done like a lovely home setting. Room spacious and bed very comfortable. Great kitchen in which to cook our evening meal and very good continental breakfast provided (which is a rare bonus for the price and type of accomodation). Staff very friendly and grounds beautiful. Only a few mins drive to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend it!

  Beautiful,peaceful location. Cabins very spacious and well equipped. Loved the indoor/outdoor dining area. Five of us stayed in a two bedroom cabin. Facilities great....something for everyone. Swimming pool, table tennis, pool, walks, a great place to chill out.   Clean and tastefully appointed rooms. We were a mature couple travelling with our mature daughter. The owners son who I gathered worked on mainting the Motel was very pleasant and very much open for a chat whenever we encountered him which made us feel very much at home. Lovely garden which would be ideal for children to run and play with a nic... what people say » e barbeque area. All in all nice place to stay and good value for money. - i liked the location, the room, the kitchenette was great and the kitchen Sunbeam equipment was a bonus. i cooked a lot of great meals. the layout of the room was good, it felt like home. Laundry service was great. and the Costumer service was FANTASTIC. We came for 1 Night BUT we Stayed for 3 Nights Because we liked it so much. Landscaping was great and the Herb plants on the gazebo ware a pleasantly useful.

Easily accessible to the beach, bars restaurants and shops. The room was large with a double and single bed and couch. The kitchette was a great addition so if you didn't want to eat out all the time at least you could make basic meals. There is also large balconies on all the rooms which is a great feature.

  For the rating of the motel it way exceeded expectation. We normally stay 5 star. It was well appointed and very comfy bed( much better than most 5 stars).Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Pleasantly surprised... - Location was fantastic as was the help from the staff. Rooms were very clean, great parking facilities, cloase to all amenities... what people say » as well as a short walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend staying here.

  Rooms are of a good size, clean and tidy.The Motel has a bar-b-q area which was well furnished and useable. Parking freely available as was the use of WiFi. The owner, Graham, was very welcoming and helpful as was his wife. The Motel is away from the hussle and bussle of Byron Bay centre and that is a good thing, without being too far out of he ce... what people say » ntre. A good place to base yourselves if you want to explore Byron at a not too expensive price. The gardens are beautiful. - I brought my partner here for a weekend away and the greeting on arrival was lovely they even did a special gift with tim tams and wine which was beautiful and thoughtful and we really appriciated it a lot :-) Staff were really helpfull with any questions we had mainly in regard where to get food which was very handy.
