  During the resent floods in Bundaberg we stayed at the motel because we had no boat left. The welcome we received was wonderful. During our stay the power went out and food was limited but they allowed us to continue staying and the even fed us. They even had a generator and allowed us to charge phones and computers. I can not recommend the Rivers... what people say » ide enough. You guys rock. When things settle down we will be back - The food was excellent and our room was spacious with a view of the river. Bundaberg is very different and would only recommend for a stopover as we did. The people however were very friendly.
