  I loved the close proximity to the city. The train station was a short 15 minute walk and the staff were very good at offering advise on how to get there. I liked the pool facility but thought the pool environment was not very attractive- a bit like a gym and I think it should look more resorty. The gym facility was very good. The internet access was exc - There was little I didn't like actually. Nothing to fault meriton on at all except the noise from neighbouring developments. It was a fairly long sort of walk to shops but in saying that, it's good exercise & the area is still under development so it was a small inconvenience that was easily overlooked. I can only say that I preferred my stay at the danks street Meriton a little more simply because they have split level apartments that I absolutely loved! I love Meriton so much, I'm now lo

  Our stay here was perfect. Having stayed in the Campbell Street Meriton before we knew the quality was great but we were looking for something closer to Surry Hills this time. Danks Street is a great location just far enough from the city to escape the hustle bustle and enjoy some boutique shopping and delicious food. That being said, on our 1st taxi ride from downtown area, we were a bit nervous about the area. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised that the neighborhood was an area which was in the process of being upgraded and our immediate area was all done and people living all around the hotel area.   As a fit grandmother with grandchildren 11 and 8, I found Apt 319 suited us perfectly for 8 nights in April.Very quiet little apartment well appointed with all you need for a granny with grandchildren! Friendly helpful manag - It's location easy to get into Sydney cbd. The hotel owners were so welcoming and helpful. Our studio apartment was comfortable and well equipped with everything you needed we were particularly grateful for the washing machine and tumble dryer and some sachets of washing powder.There was a nice continental breakfast which was part of the room rate. In our opinion a good place to stay for a reasonable room rate.

The front desk staff were very nice. The beds were comfortable. It was central to all the things you'd want to be close to in the city but there was no noise from the party goers outside. There was a good space for me to work. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends and family. I was very happy with my stay here.
