Kate Larsson who runs the place was extremely cooperative in answering our questions before we arrived, via email and phone, and very informative. She helped us select tours at a rate lower than available on tour site, arranged our shuttle to proserpine and let shuttle know when tour was delayed that we were on our way. The stay was definitely the better with Kate. Location was as reviewed previously, close to town and convenient. Tours picked up from the apartment, which was very helpful given.

Kate and her daughter Bronte are amazing hosts, they are extremely helpful, knowledge, accommodating, and so kind, friendly, and welcoming! The facilities are very clean and extremely comfortable. Everything about my stay was fantastic, I would highly recommend it to everyone. There is a little kitchen unit as well in the suite so you can cook which is an added bonus. I can't say enough good things about Airlie Beach Apartments. I could not recommend Airlie Beach Apartments highly enough..! The location was just perfect only a stones throw from the main street and beach. Kate was a wonderful host and was extremely welcoming and warm, organised our tours and stored our bags, nothing was too much trouble. The room was a great and very comfortable with all the facilities you need for a self container apartment. The pool was great too. Excellent experience and we will be back. :). The accomodations were clean and nicely kept. I had a very comfortable bed a refridge and a hot plate, table, chairs a futon and nice tv. I also had a very nice bathroom. I really like that i was very close to the beach and swimming lagoon, places to eat and groceries. There also a pool, but I loved spending time at the swimming lagoon and beach.Most important to me was how friendly and helpful the manager was to me?. Less than a minute's walk from a beautiful beach and a rich night life, with a hostess who has an inside track on getting you the most looked- for tours to the Whitsunday islands and the Great Barrier Reef at the best price, and if that isn't enough, the price for your stay is surprisingly low. Even budget-friendly, if I might use that old acorn. Had an enormously satisfying stay, despite one quibble. See right. The location was great! We were steps away from the main road in Airlie Beach. The room was lovely. The bathroom was bright and clean. Having a full kitchen was a nice treat. Kate was very very friendly and stored our bags for us while we were on a sailing trip at no charge, and also offered us early check-in for when we got off the sailboat. Wonderful experience!. I LOVED Airlie Beach Apartments. Kate was beyond fantastic and the friendliest person. Our apartment was so cozy, comfty bed, little kitchenette for when we wanted to cook a little something, and the location was exceptional. A short walk to the beach and shops but "far" enough away from the noise on weekends. Would stay in this place again and again!. Excellent value, great location close to shops and beach. All staff very friendly, Kate in particular was extremely helpful in organising trips, transfers and allowed us to use our room for a shower after a half day trip before getting transport to the airport even though we were officially checked out. - Very Friendly and helpful staff! - Clean. -In the kitchen everything you need. -really only 5min to lagune or beach but still quite. -room like the pictures but there older unrenovated too! we were in small house.(only one party but there are other appartements with more parties). Modern with good facilities, we were provided with a chalet and a wonderful bed long enough for my tall husband. Located in the heart of the town a pleasant stroll from shops and restaurants. The pool was lovely. It was a very comfortable stay. We loved the stay with the Apartments, they are so close to everything and Kate always went out of her way to make sure anything we wanted was catered for. This is really a quirky kind of criticism but Arlie Beach Apartments was the first place I've ever stayed in where the tv was directly over the head of the bed, meaning that to watch tv while in bed one has to reverse positions so that you're lying with your head at the foot of the bed. There is a couch at the end of the room but it's made for short people, like really short people. Anyway, it's no big deal; I didn't travel all the way to Australia to watch tv. I loved everything. Literally ZERO complaints!. - Cannot remember something -not a problem of the airlie beach appartements but the supermarket in the main street is pretty expensive. Coles too far away without car. The louvres and windowsill in the bathroom was very dusty. We were not offered clean towels even though we stayed 3 nights. There was absolutely nothing we didnt like, we will be back next year. The salt watter pool. I felt the photos on the internet were very miss leading, false advertising maybe.... There is no rooms with a view of the sea. The room was very dated. The windows were the old louver style so noise was a major issue. The shower was blocked (which the staff did not know about) paint flaking off the walls. It was very disappointing. Although the new renovated rooms looked lovely, but again no sea view. No Wi-Fi. Zero negatives. Slightly noisy on the weekend due to being quite close to a backpackers venue. Next time we would specify a different villa. Plates dirty in cupboard. Guests are required to clean apartment before leaving or pay $50 for cleaners to do it. Dishwashing liquid provided but no sponge which makes this difficult. Otherwise, good value and would recommend!. Everything was great. Nothing. No Wifi. Nothing. screen on the windows would help in preventing mosquitoes/flies from coming in. We put up with the noise and age of apartment on account of the extra space. Soon to be upgraded. nothing. No dislikes. Beds on wheels moved away from back wall & space was a bit tight between beds & kitchen. Didn't spoil stay though. The bed had wheels and that can be annoying. The pool was very refreshing but found the tiles quite slippery. Only thing that i would add to these apartments is a wifi. Studio rooms very small Road works in main street. Slightly noisy from traffic & young revelers returning to other resorts. Road Noise lounge low and uncomfortable.
