we had a one night stay in a four poster suite we wish we could have stayed longer we were made to feel welcome in a beautiful homely place. the room was fantastic with a great view over the lovely gardens. - The family were very welcoming made us a tray of tea when we arrived . This hotel is beautiful. It is extreamily well presented and by far the best hotel I have stayed in. There is a gorgeous log fire as you enter the reception. The room was more like an apartment and had a fabulous spar bath and more charactor then you can imagine. I would recomend this hotel to everyone as it is perfect. Simply enchanting - Food exc

All the staff we came into contact with were curteous, friendly and helpful.
The Hotel and rooms were very clean.
Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of food.
Ample parking.
Handy for Winchester.
Though there were Christmas Parties being held in the hotel function rooms there was no noise intrusion.

Decor light and airy, spaciousness, restaurant excellent, beds very comfy. Breakfast good though a little disjointed in selection, no continuity, eggs ordered separately and delivered to table before we had finished our cereals.Lovely hotel, good parking and peaceful.

Lovely setting. Excellent communications when I had reason to contact the hotel directly. The recently refurbished rooms and restaurant were a real treat and the food was yummy. We booked some time ago and the new owners honoured our booking price which made our trip the bargain of the Century. Good Luck with Your new acquisition. -

This young man will be an asset to any future employer in the Hotel business.Best of luck to George. Lovely location in the country.

Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits! We will definately be back and were eventalking about making a trip later in the year! - The staff were very friendly and helpfull, the food was great and theroom service

The reception staff were very friendly and obliging, the room was warm and comfortable, the two children being accomodated on 2 separate mattresses, very comfy. our bed was roomy, coomfortable with lovely soft pillows, and there were plenty of clean towels. -

The warm welcome and helpfulness of the staff, particularly I would like to thank the young man who helped with directions when we got lost. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly. We weren't expecting breakfast to be included, so were pleasantly surprised to find a continental breakfast delivered to the room as well as milk, water butter and jam (for the coissants) already in the fridge. Amy gave us an excellent welcome on arrival. the room was extremely clean and comfortable. since we were leaving early the next day, the staff brought over many food items for us to be able to have some breakfast before leaving. the food at the for and hound is very well priced and of very good quality. The room given to visitors are at the back of the Fox and Hound proper so the place is extremely quite. I must emphasis that the staff go out of the way to make your stay enjoyable and comf
