This hotel is beautiful. It is extreamily well presented and by far the best hotel I have stayed in. There is a gorgeous log fire as you enter the reception. The room was more like an apartment and had a fabulous spar bath and more charactor then you can imagine. I would recomend this hotel to everyone as it is perfect. Simply enchanting - Food exc

All the staff we came into contact with were curteous, friendly and helpful.
The Hotel and rooms were very clean.
Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice of food.
Ample parking.
Handy for Winchester.
Though there were Christmas Parties being held in the hotel function rooms there was no noise intrusion.

Decor light and airy, spaciousness, restaurant excellent, beds very comfy. Breakfast good though a little disjointed in selection, no continuity, eggs ordered separately and delivered to table before we had finished our cereals.Lovely hotel, good parking and peaceful.

Lovely setting. Excellent communications when I had reason to contact the hotel directly. The recently refurbished rooms and restaurant were a real treat and the food was yummy. We booked some time ago and the new owners honoured our booking price which made our trip the bargain of the Century. Good Luck with Your new acquisition. -

Fantastic environment for a family trip to marwell zoo! We loved theattention to detail in the hotel and rooms even down to the animal printmugs and penguin biscuits! Amy gave us an excellent welcome on arrival. the room was extremely clean and comfortable. since we were leaving early the next day, the staff brought over many food items for us to be able to have some breakfast before leaving. the food at the for and hound is very well priced and of very good quality.
