good, the hotel was spotless. The receptionist on duty for most of our stay was extremely nice, and very helpful, her name was Denise , a lovely person!. I am sure that when we are in the area again we will be stopping at Harmer Hill. -

Attentive and friendly staff ( very funny waiter), good service.although I normally shy away from staying in traditional style hotels- prefering the contemporary, I found it clean, good value for money, good food, welcome drink, relaxing and with good quality furnishings. - The hotel staff create such a friendly atmosphere within the hotel it was

The staff were very friendly, room was a nice size, very clean with everything you would need in a room. hotel itself was very interesting and worth exploring. - Staff at front office and house keeping were extremely polite, friendly and nice.

I particularly liked the friendliness of the staff that dealt with us, as they were very welcoming and helpful, plus the overall cleanliness and quality of the hotel. The staff and the service was brilliant. I stayed there with my partner and it was a lovely place to spend the weekend. The room was spotless and had everything you'd expect there to be plus more. The breakfast was really nice as well. We stayed in the lodge which is just round the back of the hotel. There were some people staying in there at the

The food was excellent, the staff were obviously well trained and friendly, there were plenty of small parts that added up to a very pleasant stay such as milk in jugs and not cartons, somewhere for the cartons at breakfast, good quality serviettes at mealtimes, clean corridors where it was difficult to keep clean (we ran a finger along a dado rail!) and, joy of joys there was a Country & Western night in their extension and not one sound escaped!

Simon couldn't have been more accomodating. He made us feel welcome and genuinely wanted us to enjoy our stay. The staff are very obviously happy working there which speaks volumes. the food was excellent and simple and well priced. Although initial problem with the breakfast times did provide cereals and orange juice and a bottle of wine as an apology.
