It was handy to the cruise ship terminal which was what we required. They provided a free shuttle service to the terminal which, although the distance was walkable, it was appreciated. Reception was friendly and efficient and hand you a little carton of cold UHT milk which is nice. The room was very clean and comfortable. Even though the motel is on the main road it is not overly noisy. Plenty of undercover parking. Motel within walking distance to the shops and cafes on Racecourse Road, and the Port.

Staff went out of their way to assist us. Room good and as requested,
ground floor, access. Arrived late thro' Black and White cab driver
taking us to the Waterloo Hotel, kitchen just on closing, held kitchen
for us, great meal, great value. Would recommend to anyone requiring
accommodation. -

Very handy to Prince Charles Hospital and staff went out of their way to be friendly and provided great service. Motel was also very close to restaurants and takeaway outlets, plus Aida and the huge Westside shopping mall. -

I liked the "can do" attitude of staff and being very accommodating during my short visit to Brisbane. I arrived very late into Brisbane that night, and staff organised access to my room, even though the reception facility had closed well before my arrival. Excellent service! -

For a budget hotel the inclusions in the room were excellent. Was impressed that there was more than one little milk for coffee etc. there was actually about 10 and not just one shampoo etc. the rooms were spacious and well appointed again for a budget hotel. the owners tried really hard to make the place value for money. Cleanliness, neat facilities, friendly welcome and generous size of apartment and appointments. NOT run-down or shabby looking like so many other airport motels. Everything in the room functioned too.
Quiet enough for a city location and free off-street parking. Very easy to find.
Perfect if you have an early morning flight out from the airport!

The large spacious room was a joy in which to stay- regretted not staying for longer. The staff that greeted us were extremely friendly and helpful and obviously ready to assist with any requests for assistance or information.
Great location with fast, easy access to north central Brisy, nthern suburbs or gateway to sunshine coast and hinterland.

We were very happy with our room ,thought it may be noisy as was next to the highway but wasn't.We needed something for easy access to a hospital and this was it.Staff were excellent and sheets felt like they had been ironed which was great.

Communal Dining & cooking facilities, lounge & television area at front - a great area to relax with a drink, and they are licenced as well.
Rooms comfortable & clean with fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. -
Excellent location with a lovely view of the old museum and easy access to the facilities of fortitude valley. The covered terrace is a lovely place to have a drink or a meal. Lots of wood and quirky old things in the public parts with a well-equipped kitchen. It was nice to have coffee, tea, milk and water in the room.

This was my second stay at Astor Apartments and I intend many more. The location is superb for travellers with out a vehicle as it is so close to Central Train Station, the CBD, South Bank and bus departure stations. The Astor Apartments provide excellent, well presented accommodation and apartments have everything you need for a great stay. Views

We arrived at almost mid-night hrs all the way from Auckland. The apartment key & room allocated was well arranged and easy to access & directly to our room. On the following day, we realized one of the male staff is really helpful when we asked for an extra bed and the bed was there after we returned to the room. In general, the apartment is really well managed.

Room looked basic from decor perspective but had facilities over &
above what I expected (tea & coffee, mini fridge, iron & board).
Everything worked & room v v clean. Asked for "high &
quiet" room which I got. Arrived an hour early & was offered
alternative room as opposed to original room booked which wasn't
quite ready.

Amazing for the price. I was a bit nervous after reading some of the negative reviews but this place is a gem. Cheap and right in the heart of the city. The room was small but perfect for a single. Air conditioning, TV, kettle, fridge, wardrobe, iron, ensuite and quiet. I've paid twice this for a comparable room in a comparable location. No hesitation in recommending and will definitely stay here again. -
I read lots of very negative on-line reviews about this hotel; so upon arrival, I was apprehensive. But I was surprised - location was perfect for the price I pay. Service was good and my room, towel and linen were clean. I would recommend this hotel again to any solo traveller especially ones on business trips. I wouldn't recommend it to a family on long holiday trips as size of standard room is small.
