It was handy to the cruise ship terminal which was what we required. They provided a free shuttle service to the terminal which, although the distance was walkable, it was appreciated. It was very clean and comfortable though the traffic noise was constant through the night as it is near a busy intersection. Staff were very friendly. It was handy to eateries and an IGA store which provided what we required.

Even though the motel is on the main road it is not overly noisy. Plenty of undercover parking. Motel within walking distance to the shops and cafes on Racecourse Road, and the Port. I was on a short work trip and needed to be in the area where the Airport Hotel was located and still be close to airport so the location was perfect for this visit. Very efficient service, friendly staff, clean, comfortable & secure. The perfect place for a quick overnight stay without all the frills. It was close to the airport but also easy walking to the ferry terminal and restaurants & shops. The room had a refrigerator and a hot pot and even wine glasses. The desk staff was really helpful and friendly, and let us check in early. They also offered a tempting dinner. Location...right next to brisbane wharf where there was nice restaurants. Walking distance to doomben racecourse where our festival was. Undercover car park was free which was great. Food was good and delivered to the room fast. Also free austar. We found the staff, especially Mandy was very helpful. She has a very pleasant nature and gave us directions to the nearest chemist and even loaned us an umbrella as it was raining, thank you Mandy for a great stay, we will be back. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room service meals and drinks available, very useful after a long flight. Tea and coffee making facilities and toaster. Close to airport, and airport shuttle available at a reasonable price. That it had a kitchen for sitting and having tea/coffee etc. It was also spacious and had plenty of hanging space if needed. Also had an ironing board and iron available. We were all very happy with our room and stay. The friendly welcoming ladies at reception, also the meals were good value, the service to drop us at the terminal and also for leaving a vehicle while we were away. Travelling by way of ferry into city was brillant. The receptionist named Toni who was on at the time of my check in was amazing she was friendly !helpful and very knowledgable made the whole experience more memorable and enjoyable i simpl cannot praise her enough. Easily recognisable (came in late at night) and easy after hours checkin. Liked the text message with the safe code, notwithstanding I had rung to confirm my booking earlier in the day and received these details. I was very pleased that the room was changed to one with a shower only as I had my elderly mother with me who couldn't cope with the shower in the bath. The staff were very pleasant about the whole process. Only stayed the one night en route to PNG. Arrived very early and made very welcome. Staff put our luggage in our rooms and were extremely helpful. The Airport Motel suited us and I rate it highly. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy access to locations and site seeing & shopping via city cat ferries very little cost compared to a taxi. Close to terminal for cruise & courtesy bus drop off. The staff were brilliant, very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and always delivered with a smile. I stay in motels often and I really like this place. I felt very much at home here. The absence of someone at the desk after hours could be a problem for some, but they have it well set up for arranging airport shuttle the night before, and there is a phone at the entrance for contacting a taxi, so they have the main bases covered. You could hear other people in their rooms next door. People were talking till early hours of 4am....thin walls. The windows didnt open...I wanted more fresh air. Nothing I can think of. Thought that the rooms were a bit overpriced but to be honest the room was clean and the motel close to everything. Came in late (10.30 pm), and was keen for a cold drink and a snack, so some after hours accessible vending machines would have been good. Not sure that light switches above bed were working. No complaints. No elevator (wasn't a surprise - it was clearly stated at the time of reservation). Nothing to dislike. The only downside is having to lug suitcases up 2 flights of stairs and also traffic noise while trying to sleep. No elevat. There is nothing that I didn't like. -Wi-Fi reception in the rooms is poor and need signal boosters in the rooms to improve grade of service -we stayed during winter, so cold winter winds were coming through the bathroom windows. No book in room re facilities non working lights (2) difference in price list between menu in room and actual charge on b'fast order form. nothing. Is getting to the point where it needs some modernising. No lift to first floor. I have only one suggestion to make, and that is ... Don't have any of the staff chewing gum when they are welcoming guests. As it looks as they are chewing their cud and it is not a very nice look. It was much further from the domestic airport than I anticipated, and therefore more expensive. The cost of the airport transfer was too expensive. I recently stayed at a motel on the corner from you and airport transfer was $6.00. Maybe you should look at changing your service. coach to the airport, and pick-up would have been a good extra to be available.
