  There is no lift at this hotel, and if you are carrying suitcases to the fourth floor, it is quite a climb. The hotel is a bit rundown, but if you need a place to stay that will not break the budget, this is it. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel after I checked out and came back to pick it up later.   Admiral is a family run hotel and you get treated like one. The location is wonderful, the staff go out of their way to help, the rooms and public areas are clean and looked after, the breakfast room/bar was beautiful. I really liked the fact that there were proper ceramic cups to have tea or coffee with in the rooms, as so many hotels only provide paper ones & importantly for me, there were 8 little milk cartons, as opposed to the usual 1 per person.
