A very pleasant hotel ideally situated just three minutes walk from Paddington station. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful and I was able to leave my luggage at the hotel after I checked out and came back to pick it up later. My room was on the very top floor of the hotel up eight flights of stairs, but it had a nice view over Sussex Gardens. The staff seem to work awfully long hours b.

Like all the other similar hotels on Sussex Gardens, it was a long hike to my room on the top floor !! I knew this may be the case and my luggage was kindly carried up to, and down from my room by the good gentleman at the desk!! The English breakfast was good. location. The Saturday afternoon/evening staff were very helpful and friendly in their approach and were willing to do anything to help the customer. THe location was great.Good central location. Great postion, staff were very nice and helpful. Especially the waitress in the breakfast room. The room was fine, beds comfy - bathroom needed some work.excellent coffee at breakfast, very clean room, staircase, premises. Friendly staff and it was so handy to Paddington and Hyde Park. The hotel reception and kitchen staff were very good. near to paddington station near to hyde park. Brilliant location, just 2 minutes walk from paddington Tube. 10 Minutes from Oxford Street. 5 Minutes to Hyde park. There are plently of shops, bars and resturants nearby. The Weather! - Hotel was fine and staff were helpful and friendly.Breakfast was good...Location was excellent. We received a friendly welcome and were relieved that there was no problem with our parking reservation. Breakfast was good and room was warm and spacious. Location between Hyde Park and Paddington Station.In fact, until now, your site was very efficient, but I don't know what's happened this time: the Adare hotel staff declared that they didn't receive my booking. Despite the fact that I booked for three nights, after one night, the receptionist asked for my money, without saying anything. In the evening, I found out that I had no booking and that the other receptionist made some sort of confusion. breakfast. When I stayed, I had to lift the huge suit-case to the 4th floor. If the lower room is available, I just want to stay. Please take into consideration about that. breakfast was good. location. Tiny room. Sharp sloop and narrow stair.The IKEA bed. No lift. Room very small but we expected that. smallish but price made up for it. My mother can't walk paticularly well and the hotel didn't do an awful lot to question whether we needed disabled facilities or not. Also during the breakfast period, although the food was served promptly, we as a four person family received 1 round of toast each in comparison to a single person who received 4 rounds of toast, we thought this was slightly. The breakfast staff were also rude!. shower very small!. Stairs!. the basin in the bathroom was too small.Not the hotel as such but not enough staff. The two girls doing the breakfasts were run off their feet. The breakfast was not very nice but could not fault the waiting service. She was always pleasant and brought tea, coffe breakfast to the table promptly.It was what I expected - Fine. Mouldy smelling bathroom..could not accept credit cards as machine was broken, only cash???. Bathroom was very small and despite reporting a broken seat on our arrival, noithing had been done about it two days later when we left. Waitress serving breakfast spoke limited English so it was difficult to make requests understood. Noisy traffic, poor quality breakfast, shower was a trickle! Reflected in price so what do you expect.Broken shower in room 12, shower cubicle old and discoloured mastic, grubby in the corners. Lack of ability to speak english.no hot water in the shower and I was told nothing could be done about that, and freezing cold room as the heating does not work and I was told it is done on puruse otherwise it is too hot in the hotel. I arrived at the hotel with the confirmation letter,but was told the hotel had no vacancies...Bedroom was on the 4th floor and there was no lift. Hotel was incredibly hot and the rooms incredibly small. The room is very narrow,so I can not open the suit-case enough.my room was in the attic. The final flight of steps was difficult to negotiate with luggage. The plumbing made unannounced loud rattling noises at various times through the night which lead to me having a disturbed sleep. staff totally disinterested in guests, breakfast cold, bathroom floor tiles broken and pushed back together like jigsaw. much better value in Kingscross area. No hot water from shower. Staff was not exactly correspondent to this problem. I never stay at here forever. The heating wasn't turned on in the hotel despite it being close to zero outside. When I complained an extra blanket appeared in my room. Still no radiators though. Clain that breakfast is "best in the area" is by far way over stated. All I have to say is 1/4 of a cooked tomato as part of Full English Breakfast. Once you get past Reception hotel is tied and drab. Rip-off London. Avoid this hotel.
