Location is excellent for incoming travellers from Heathrow. It is in a good area central to transport and three tube lines. The hotel has a lift which many similar small hotels do not. The rooms are small but are comfortable (even an LCD TV). Most importantly the room was newly renovated with a good bathroom. Breakfast was better than expected. No horror stories at this hotel. Recommended.

The hotel is so easy to get to from Paddington - useful if you arrive at Heathrow airport. The receptionists were very helpful. The twin room was compact but it suited us as it helped keep the costs down. The ensuite shower room was spotless. It was good to have tea/coffe making facilities.The hotel is in a walk distance to all of the major attractions. The location is perfect. The area is safe and there are many transportation alternatives to the hotel. Breakfast is better than most of the BandBs in London. That the hotel was only a walkins distance away from Paddington station, as you use this station to get to any part of london by the underground tube.. No. Some might find that rooms are very small, which stands for most of the London hotels; however, as a solo traveler, I found room spacious enough. my only minor gripe was the lack of a cooked breakfast. Breakfast could be much better. A little small (tiny, actually), but par for the course for London.The other guy was not helpful at all - offering me 4th floor room andnot offering help in bringing the suitcase upstairs which was reallyheavy. Not working lift. My room was very warm, even during the night.it was too cold in the rooms, poor breakfast. Bathroom very small and a bit claustrophobic, really warm in the room even with window open (in Feb!), noisy man next door waking us up every morning by throwing up!!! (not the hotels fault though!). Breakfast staff were a little unfriendly, and not alot of choice for breakfast. The room we had was a bit noisy because of the traffic.The breakfast room could have some music. Noise from water tubes. Poor breakfast. small room with a big bed that took up too much space; no dresser, too few clothes hooks. The bathroom door was slightly deformed and couldn't be closed properly. The bed was a bit soft for me, but that's just personal preference. I got the back luck with a problem with the hot water in my bathroom, but acctualy no one succeed fixing it during my stay! Thanks to the stuff I was OK :). Breakfast. breakfast was poor.train noise. poor breakfest and very small (I mean veryyyy) bathroom. room to more in the bathrooms, luckily me and my husband are quite slim - also would have loved english breakfast. breakfast , I would even pay more for a complete English type breakfast and the windows unfortunately were facing to a dark inside yard and wall. Noise from the street, but it was NYE and with sash windows, so not to bothered. small bathroom, no Bar. The staff were a little gruff. One morning my husband was afraid to ask for more milk for the coffee!. lift was not working when I left the hotel with the luggage, but they were already repairing it, whats good. bathroom was very small, for some "overweight" people it should be problem. Reception advise that there was a lift to 4th floor. However, lisft only goes to 3rd floor and one needs to overcome 20 very steep steps in an extremenly narrow corridor - it was a challenge to get my bulky luggage through. Window handle was broken and could not close properly. In all it was a good experience. An area of improvement though is in cleaning of the baths and toilets. For an extended stay. the breakfast may be boring. Transfer of sound from adjacent rooms. Small bathroom. Breafast finished at 9.15.
