Location is excellent for incoming travellers from Heathrow. It is in a good area central to transport and three tube lines. The hotel has a lift which many similar small hotels do not. The rooms are small but are comfortable (even an LCD TV). Most importantly the room was newly renovated with a good bathroom. Breakfast was better than expected. No horror stories at this hotel. The area is safe and there are many transportation alternatives to the hotel. Breakfast is better than most of the BandBs in London. That the hotel was only a walkins distance away from Paddington station, as you use this station to get to any part of london by the underground tube.. One morning my husband was afraid to ask for more milk for the coffee!. lift was not working when I left the hotel with the luggage, but they were already repairing it, whats good. bathroom was very small, for some "overweight" people it should be problem. Reception advise that there was a lift to 4th floor. However, lisft only goes to 3rd floor and one needs to overcome 20 very steep steps in an extremenly narrow corridor - it was a challenge to get my bulky luggage through. Window handle was broken and could not close properly. In all it was a good experience. An area of improvement though is in cleaning of the baths and toilets. For an extended stay. the breakfast may be boring. Transfer of sound from adjacent rooms. Small bathroom. Breafast finished at 9.15.
