  We shared a two bedroom unit with friends on our way to Milford Sound. We arrived well before book in time and asked owner to store our luggage so we did not have to take it with us to Milford. I found other motels which charge much higher in Queenstown do not provide such service

There is a 24 hour laundry facility on site with free washing machin - I had a wonderful stay at Fjordland Lakeview Motel and Apartments. The heating was excellent, and very welcome after tramping outdoors, it was very clean and comfortable, and there were luxuries in the details like the toiletries and complete utensil set in the kitchen. The lakeview from the garden literally outside our door was truly spectacular, and it is a short and easy walk to town centre or the conservation centre. The staff were warm and helpful. I would definitely go back there to stay,

She welcomed us with a smile and helpful information for our tour at Milford Sound early the next morning. She provided us with other advice around town a well. She did not have to at all, but she did!!! That was absolutely excellent - The staff was exceptional - friendly, helpful, warm, and informative. The room was so comfortable and had so many amenities - microwave, French press, fresh milk, refrigerator, teas, coffees! We arrived so late and we were so tired and it was so nice to have such a lovely room in which to stay. I would recommend this place to everyone!!
